Normally "Satanists" don't actually worship Satan: they tend to be narcissists who try to use the power of demons for their own purposes. Unfortunately this tends to mean that they give demons power over them in order to gain power, and thus lose themselves as they quickly discover that no man is a match for the powers of ancient intelligent malevolence.
