I am taking this in my history class right now.Canada after WW2 was affected socially, in the category of intolerance. Afro-Americans, Natives and women were much more respected after the war and many racial barriers were torn down because people realized that Afro-mericans and Natives were as good as any soldier and person. Women of all races gained huge amount of rights and were now respected in universities and the workplace.
World War II had a significant social impact on Georgia by leading to increased industrialization and economic opportunities, which attracted workers from rural areas. The war also prompted changes in family dynamics as many men went off to fight, leaving women to take on new roles in the workforce. Additionally, the war resulted in the internment of Japanese Americans in Georgia, causing social tensions and prejudice.
The population of Canada was approximately 11,250,000 when Canada entered WW2 1939, and increased to a little more than 12,000,000 by the end of the war in 1945. The highest was 11.95 million people in 1944, the lowest was 11.27 million people in 1939. (In 1929 Canada's population reached 10,000,000 for the first time in history - it reached 10,029,000 by the end of the year. In 1939 the population of Canada was 11,267,000 approx; 1940: 11,382,000 approx; 1941: 11,507,000 approx; 1942: 11,654,000 approx; 1943: 11,795,000 approx; 1944: 11,946,000 approx; and in 1945: 12,072,000 approx).
An estimated 65 million soldiers from around the world fought in World War 1.
some social effects of WW1 are that citizens would feel grief when they found out they lost there loved ones during war. Another social outcome of WW1 was women were recognized for holding down the fort while the men were away. One more social outcome of WW1 was that for some less successful country's in the war (such as Germany ,Italy, and Russia's) citizens felt panicked that there leaders weren't capable of successfully running there country.
Social Darwinism did not directly cause World War II, but it did contribute to ideologies like fascism and Naziism that played a significant role in the war. These ideologies promoted the idea of survival of the fittest and superiority of certain races, leading to policies of aggression, expansion, and genocide. In this way, social Darwinism indirectly influenced the events and outcomes of World War II.

World War II significantly shaped Canada's political landscape, leading to a stronger sense of national identity and increased autonomy from Britain, as Canada made its own decisions regarding war efforts and post-war policies. Socially, the war catalyzed changes in gender roles, as women entered the workforce in large numbers to support the war effort, leading to greater advocacy for women's rights and social equality. The war also prompted shifts in immigration policies and reinforced multiculturalism, as Canada welcomed refugees and immigrants from war-torn Europe. Overall, these changes laid the groundwork for a more progressive and independent Canada in the post-war era.
The World War 2 battle that affected Canada the most was the Battle of the Atlantic. This battle was the largest commitments that Canada was in.
the economy in Canada rose dramtically very quickly following the second world war due to all the immigrants coming over on boats etc. this also caused a dramatic plumet in the economy of other countries. Also, to answer to question regarding politics, it somewhat separated Canadians because of the french in Canada and the formation of the then new Parti Quebequo i hope this helps a little http://www.canadaka.net/content/page/83-how-was-Canada-affected-by-world-war-2 http://www.ucalgary.ca/applied_history/tutor/canada1946/chapter1.HTML

World War 1 benefited in 3 major ways Socially, politically, and economically Socially - women weren't treated as badly. They were able to make their sandwiches without being as penalized. Politically - Canada could make some of their own decisions instead of being chained down like a gambling alcoholic. Economically - Canada was a beast country. There were many improvements to the economy.
The greatest impact on Canada was as a result of World War II due to Canada's extensive effort in this war as opposed to World War I.
yes Canada fought in world war 1 because Canada was a British colony, and when British was at the war, Canada found itself at the war automatically
