I just turned 13, I'm a little bit faster than average and I got 6.35. But the 40m sprint is completely irrelevent to 100m cause I got 15.72 in the 100m and my friend (who got 6.39 in the 40m) got 14.96. So the 40m sprint is just about accelaration not speed.
I am a relatively new swimmer. I have done a Sprint Tri once and am preparing for my next one in two weeks. It takes me about 20 mins.
You can't have a meaningful average time w/o having an average questionnaire length, which you haven't.
Five . Also if you want to know that how 'bout you get a life and look on the sprint website.
For an elite skater or someone who plays competitve hockey the average time is 5:30 but for someone who does not skate that much the average time is 8:15
The average sleep time of a 4 year old is about 5-8 hours. Or about 5-8 minutes.
Interval training is quite effective to develop Anaerobic Capacity. Working over a distance of maybe 60/80m with a active rest (walking) of 20seconds is a good place to start. To make it harder, increase the distance of the sprints and decrease the rest period. Pyramid training will also help. *Sprint 20m have a 10 second break *Sprint 40m have a 15 second break *Sprint 60m have a 15 second break *Sprint 80m have a 20 second break *Sprint 60m *Sprint 40m *Sprint 20m
4.6 seconds on the 40m sprint is about average, but it really depends on your body type. A big, muscular guy might run a 4.59, but that doesn't mean he is average. A thin guy might run a 4.6, at that might make him average or even worse. It really depends on your body type. For example, if you have a 6'2" 250 lbs. linebacker run and a 6'2" 180 lbs. punter run the 40m sprint, which do you expect will win? The 6'2" 180 lbs. punter because he has less weight to carry. If they both run the same time, you can expect that the 6'2" 250 lbs. linebacker is pretty fast for his body type. Hope this isn't too confusing!

To calculate the volume of a rectangular prism, you multiply the length, width, and height. 40m × 40m × 60m = 96, 000 m3.
