In America the stigma of such a relationship is still I believe frowned upon. In Australia where I live many Islanders i.e Tongan. Maori and Samoan girls do marry whites and is quite acceptable here and the marriages work out well. The stigma of a mixed marriage in America fall upon the child through their peers.

∙ 10y agoMany do marry, and they often do marry Black women. However, keep in mind that in the US, men of color are much more likely than other races to grow up in single-parent homes. So they have no role-modeling as to what a married family is like and might never cultivate such a desire.
Another idea is that their mothers could have been very strict, often as a result of being a single parent, and they may fear that they may be trapped in a relationship with someone who won't let them be themselves. But they have the same sexual desires as other men (or greater if they feel unfulfilled), so they may form shallow relationships just to get the sexual and social needs met while still maintaining their independence.
