Austin, Texas has the largest warm weather colony (~1.5 million).
Houston, Texas has the largest year-round, non-migrating colony.
Edit: An area near San Antonio hosts a colony of 40 million, the largest in the world. And I don't see how Austin would have the largest warm weather colony if San Antonio isn't any cooler. Either way, Texas is the best place on Earth. In that same area there are other bat colonies and at night they all come out together to feast on moths. Their total population is around 100 million. Crazy, right?
