The Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) in Chicago at 1452ft and built in 1974 is still the tallest tower in the US until the Freedom Tower is built. 2nd is the Aon Center in Chicago which is the 28th largest in the world at 1,136ft built in 1973.
