out of 150-200 people applying, 10-15 will go through, they are then watched in the coming months if they do not perform well enough they are kicked out or return to there former army rank

The SAS (Side-Angle-Side) similarity theorem states that if two triangles have two pairs of corresponding sides that are in proportion and the included angles are equal, then the triangles are similar. This means that the corresponding angles are also equal, and the lengths of the corresponding sides maintain a consistent ratio. Essentially, SAS similarity establishes a criterion for triangle similarity based on side lengths and the angle between them.
Disruptive selection, also known as diversifying selection.
As it applies to insurance, the adverse selection problem is the trndency for:
When would random sampling not be the best approach to sample selection
Hey there, The British SAS (Special Air Service) are considered to have the most intense training methods. Many people apply for the SAS but only a small amount pass selection.
Yes, if he passes Special Forces selection.
The S.A.S. means special air service and are the toughest soldiers. Out of 500 people only one will pass selection if there lucky. The S.A.S. are a type of black op witch keep their work secret and only do the toughest jobs, and are based in England and Australia.
The motto of the British Special Air Service (SAS) is "Who Dares Wins." This phrase encapsulates the unit's ethos of courage, resilience, and the belief that taking risks is essential for achieving success in challenging situations. The SAS is renowned for its rigorous selection process and its ability to operate in covert and high-stakes environments.
As I have suggested elsewhere, if you don't like running don't join the Foreign Legion. Being super fit is just a part of the SAS requirement. You then have to be able to function under extreme stress at a very high standard. & then some.

While the U.S. Marine Corps is much harder to be accepted into than the U.S. Army; it is a completely separate branch of the military. The SAS are trained specifically for Special Operations, while the USMC has several specialist branches within it (i.e. there are USMC fighter pilots, while the SAS only has infantry personnel) Therefore, to compare the whole USMC to the Elite Special Forces of the British Army is rather unreasonable. While the USMC basic training lasts 12 weeks; just to nominate for SAS selection, candidates need to have passed the 14 week basic training for the British Army. SAS candidates must undertake a selection process of 19 weeks that tests their teamwork and fieldcraft knowledge. Therefore, in terms of training and skill, SAS is much better equipped than the USMC. Once again, to compare SAS and USMC is unreasonable, as the SAS is a select special forces element much like the Navy SEALS. Hope this helps :)
The pass rate for GCSE Computing is a minimum of grade C.
Yes. The selection process is the toughest and their combat record not only in the past but also recently in Afghanistan and Iraq can't be beat.
Selection and initial training is around 6 months although further parachute and speciality training is done on assignment to a troop.
Natural selection and artificial selection both involve an organism's traits being determined by how much they're favored. Then, the organisms with favorable traits pass those traits on to future generations. However, natural selection is caused by survival; the organisms with traits that increase their chances for survival and reproduction pass on their traits. As for artificial selection, humans purposefully decide which traits (like the most colorful one) of an organism to pass on.The similarity of artificial selection and natural selection is that they both can cause changes in the frequency of population.
