The AZTECS, were never known with that name, it is better if you call them ancient Mexicans, they were very good at almost everything, they were very good builders, they built a city over the water which nobody else has been able to do, to this day, they were very good engineer's, they knew how to control water, they built dikes and dams, they knew how to transport water from one point to another like from Chapultepec to the city, they were excellent teachers, they had at least to schools, they were good at war, they excent art works, good sculptures, and they loved to write.

There are many factors which resulted in the downfall of the Aztecs. Some of which are: Aztec weapons were too primitive to hurt the spanish warriors, Spaniards introduced a new disease to the Americas which weakened the Aztec society, Spaniards had more advanced and effective weapons etc.
