What insect live in human shin as larvae?
I think you might have meant skin but it doesn't matter. I have been researhing a parasite that is very common around the world. I found it's larvae in my outer ear only becausea wasp had drilled through my skin and paralysed the larva then injected her egg into it. Because the larva got larger my ear became painful so one day i squeezed the lump very hard and out popped a tiny green pupa and the remains of an animal that i was unable to identify as it was now just goo. I threw the whole mess in the rubbish. I should have kept it for proof. A month or so later i noticed another swelling in same ear along the cartilage where the wasp had been went to doctor who sent me to emergency at hospital. Anyway i couldn't get the doctors to believe me when i told them an insect had pupated in my outer ear, pinna, so i had to wait for nature to take it's course. What came out of my ear was a female Bot fly. A horse bot fly. When i went to the doctors i was told it couldn't be coz they couldn't live in humans. Why, i asked, they live in warm blooded mammals and i am one of those. Anyway, i was told i was imagining things that popped up ti get air, they breath through both ends and there is a variety of different shapes and sizes. Then i found them in my children and grandchildren, friends and neighbours, my landlord and heaps of others. I started photographing my eyes at random times and found there are a lot of small ones looking out of my pupils and when i video them i could see them swimming around like goldfish. Also my eyebrows are a mess sometimes.
If anyone wants to find out if they have any parasites in or on them, all you need is an LED torch and digital camera that does MACRO. Shine the torch down your shin and take pic on MACRO mode. They can be photographed in the eyees the same way. Use your flash also. A year before my father died he lost the sight in his right eye. Earlier this year my sister in law had her eye punctured and have eye surgery.
Some of the bots are fluorescent, white and yellow and blue are red and semitransparent don't seem to be. Take a closeup of your skin, it may be looking back at you. There is no medical test for them except for a higher white cell count but that could be any allergy doing that.
I have had them now for about 7 years and now i am having sight problems. Sorry about the long preamble but i hope all this makes you think and act by checking yourse lf. Use macro and take a pic of your finger and palm prints. I have little white animals burrowed into the sides of the ridges. When they are young they can be the size of a pin point or the size of a pinhead.
Well there you are. You wished to Know and that is my answer.
Goodluck and cheers. Barry G.
What is an insect scavenger with a bad reputation?
The carrion beetle is an insect scavenger that has a bad reputation, as it feeds on decaying flesh, including dead animals. Though their role in decomposition is beneficial for ecosystems, their feeding habits can be off-putting to humans due to the association with death and decay.
Antlions are typically found in sandy or loose soil environments, such as dry regions, sand dunes, and scrublands. They create funnel-shaped traps in the sand to capture prey, which includes small insects and other invertebrates. Antlions are most commonly found in temperate and tropical regions worldwide.
I guess it depends on what type of insect you're talking about. For instance, eggs of parasitic insects are called Nits. However, I believe this only applies to lice or creatures in the same sub-species.
Are spiders called insects if not what are they called?
Spiders are not called insects; they belong to a separate group called arachnids. Insects have six legs and three body segments, while spiders have eight legs and two body segments.
Insect food sources are as diverse as the number and type of insects that are known. Insects feed on carrion, blood, plants, fungi, other invertebrates, and about any imaginable source of nutrition that may exist. Food preferences are dictated by the structural and ecological evolutionarily adapted by the Family, Genera, and species of the insect.
What is the name of the insect who farts?
The insect known for its unique ability to produce methane gas and "fart" is the termite. These methane emissions are a result of their digestion process involving microbes in their gut breaking down cellulose.
Are there such things as red millipedes?
Yes, there are red millipedes found in nature. Some species of millipedes have red coloration as a form of warning coloration to deter predators. However, not all millipedes are red, and colors can vary within different species.
What is the adaptive advantage of having a tracheal system rather than respiring through the skin?
Having a tracheal system allows for more efficient gas exchange and the ability to control the rate of respiration. This system also helps to prevent water loss through evaporation, especially in dry environments. Overall, a tracheal system provides a higher surface area for gas exchange and better protection against environmental challenges compared to relying solely on skin respiration.
Carnivorous fungi or predaceous fungi are fungi that derive some or most of their nutrients from trapping and digesting microscopic or other minute animals.
They generally belong to the phyla Ascomycota, Mucoromycotina, and Basidiomycota. They usually live in soil and many species trap or stun nematodes (nematophagous fungus), while others attack amoebae or collembola.
Two basic trapping mechanisms have been observed in carnivorous fungi that are predatory on nematodes:

How or why do silverfish appear?
[1] Silverfish like to eat carbohydrates such as starches and sugars. They easily find that diet in the moisty dark places inside houses; from the conditions and products that can be found in basements, bathrooms, and kitchens; and among the objects found in houses, such as the glue in book bindings. [2] They get in through cracks, crevices, and wall voids. [3] Boric acid can be used in wall voids, pyrethrin elsewhere. [4] Not too much can be done about books. That's just the way they're made. But elsewhere, it's important to free corners and dark spots of clutter, dark, and moisture.
What is the daddy-longlegs food?
Daddy-long-legs, or Harvestmen, eat live insects, mostly aphids. Some species
feed on dead insects or plant juices.
Why does a millipede have so many legs?
Millipedes have many legs (up to 400) because each body segment has pairs of legs. This allows them to move efficiently and navigate their environment. The numerous legs also help distribute their weight and move smoothly over different terrains.
Is a bumblebee a cold blooded animal?
no, a bumble be is cold-blooded no, a bumble be is cold-blooded
How does uric acid help birds insects and reptiles conserve water?
its not about advantages, they are designed that way. Uric acid is released by birds and reptiles due to the fact that their excretory system is different compared to humans and aquatic animals
Yes, some species of centipedes do eat millipedes. Centipedes are known to be carnivorous predators, and they may prey on millipedes as part of their diet.
What does a Green Lacewing do?
In the larval stage, these pretty insects are ferocious feeders, consuming large numbers of small detrimental insects; including aphids, whiteflies, thrips, mealybugs, psyllids, mites, small caterpillars, leafhoppers, as well as moth and other insect eggs.
What does the Shiny Black Wasp do?
The Shiny Black Wasp is a parasitic wasp that helps control pest populations such as caterpillars and beetle larvae by laying its eggs inside them. When the eggs hatch, the wasp larvae consume the host from the inside, eventually killing it.
Are the largest group of invertabrates.
the word 'arthropod' means 'jointed leg'.
their bodies are also divided into segments.
they rae supported by a hard skeleton on the outside on the body called an exoskeleton when they grow too big for their exoskeleton, they moult and grow a new one.
on their heads are feelers or antennae.
The arthropods are made up of 4 smaller groups;
1.crustaceans
2.myriapods
3.insects
4.arachnids
if u want any moe info about the 4 groups ask me
Insects are attracted to food by the smell and presence of sugars, proteins, and fats. They can easily access and infest stored food supplies if not properly sealed or stored. Additionally, certain insects can detect food sources from a distance and are naturally drawn to them.

Bug with a brown body and black head that looks like an ant in your house what is it?
The red velvet ant is red and black striped and, despite its name, is actually a wasp. Most people refer to them as cow killers, though it is doubtful one ever killed a cow. Apparently, when one stings you, it's painful enough to believe it could kill a cow.
Bad things about daddy long legs?
The term daddy longlegs is ambiguous. In Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland it refers to craneflies which are harmless insects. In the United States and Canada it can also refer to a harmless arachnid harvestman (Opiliones, not a spider) and in Australia it usually refers to the cellar spider (Pholcidae). The latter does have a venomous bite but its effect on humans is minor.
The harvestman does not have any venom at all, let alone harmful toxins.
