Hi Julie, well to answer this question with out some proper tests is difficult, so get yourself of to the doctors and get some tests done. One test I think you should ask for is for epilepsy. There are many types of epilepsy, some we dont even notice as the episodes are so fast, we are not aware of them......anyhow, they can be fixed with medication. eg: Grand mal seizure symptoms : follow a burst of electrical charges that travel throughout motor areas, spreading to several areas of the brain. This can cause a lack of consciousness that can be lengthy or so quick that it almost goes unnoticed and appears simply as a twitch. Spasms occur in muscles of the arms and legs. The attacks can also cause the loss of urinary or bowel control. An epileptic, after experiencing a grand mal fit may be disorientated and confused for a short period of time. Not saying that this is what you have, but certainly worth looking into.

Many things can make you feel this way, and these are also the signs of stress. It is very important that you see your doctor for some testing on your thyroid (get a T3 T4 blood test) and a few other tests to rule out any health risks. Hormone changes can also cause these feelings. If you are 38 on you could be in peri menopause, and 40 up you could be into your menopause. There are studies done that women are going into peri menopause much earlier than normal.

Please see your doctor and get those tests done and if all comes back well, them please try to lower any stress you may have in your life. Also a good diet, plenty of water and good exercise. These seem like simple things, but they make the world of difference.
