In a war Calypso the daughter of a evil titan was persuaded to fight along her fathers side! (the bad side) so for a punishment she was banished to an island by herself immortaly forever!

There were rumors of Calypso being more beautiful than Aphrodite herself. The goddess of love did not like this very much so every hundred years or so Aphrodite will send a handsome perfect young man to visit who Calypso cant help but fall in love with, but they have a choice to stay, or leave and Aphrodite always sends people who as much as they want to cant stay.

Maybe if you MAKE YOUR OWN ISLAND you can name it: Tropical island, Little island, lady island and little eye.

Easter Island is certainly remote and has lots of stone statues. There are some islands that are even more remote, but they have no stone statues.

Anegada is the flattest island in the world. It is located north east of the main islands in the British Virgin island Chain. When approaching by sea, the island is completely invisible until a few palm trees come into sight. The highest point on the island is a 26 foot palm tree

In Greek geographer Strabo's (who had seen Alexandria shortly after Cleopatra's death) writings, a royal palace, Cleopatra's palace, stood on Cape Lochias with more palaces on the mainland shoreline. However, once the archaeological team working on the site had found the island Antirhodos, the area was mapped, and there were surprising findings. The finding of anonymous blocks of stone, columns, capitals, quays, and limestone paving were amazing to see but could they indicate a fallen building? When divers examined the area they found a platform covering over sixty-four thousand square feet and excavations revealed the platform was leveled with ancient mortar. It is then possible Cleopatra's palace was destroyed and built upon in later years on this island? Moulds were made of artefacts and scholars examined and interpreted their findings. Their analysis confirmed the artefacts were indeed from the Ptolemaic period and that they had found the palace complex of which Strabo spoke.

The Pacific islands which were acquired in 1867 as U. S. territories were the Midway Atoll. These islands are also known as the Midway Islands.

There are a lot more than three islands in the Caribbean, however, I will mention three of the larger ones: Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Hispaniola.
