When you shoot a goal it gives you 1 point no matter where you are standing in the goal circle.

An attacking player in netball is the players that are trying to get the ball to their goal side. These players include WA (Wing Attack), GA (Goal attack), GS (Goal Shooter) and C (Center). note that these positions are still allowed to defend but their main purpose is to get the ball to their side of the court.

You can have muscular power when your jumping vertically up to try and defend and get the ball.

WA stands for WING ATTACK which is one of the midcourt positions. The key responsibility of the WA is to take the centre pass and feed the shooters.

oh my gosh yes! soccer, sure you've got the men running around. but most of their injuries are, hate to break it to you, FAKE, just so they can get a penalty. where as netball its harder to fake and girls are sneaky b*tches. girls will scratch, stamp, barge, do pretty much anything in the higher grades. plus, it is almost impossible not to get some kind of ankle injury while playing with all the sudden stops and starts.

Chest Pass- passed with both hands from the chest good for short distance passes not long.

Lob (not lollipop)- high overhead pass good for when opposing team are shorter used in the ring

Shoulder Pass- one handed pushed from the shoulder- most common passed used for long distance.

Bounce- bounced once 3/4 of the distance to the other person this passed is normally used in the ring and to get around the opposition

the gs in netball is in charge of scoring goals for the team along with the ga. the gs is the main shooter of the team and holds the most pressure to win the game...this is the position i play along with gk and it's great!! :D
