What is the percentage of people who agree to animal testing?
I think people agree with animal testing for several reasons,
one reason is because of labratories such as a medicine lab. They use the animals to test and study the side effects of that medicine so that it is safe to use on humans. also they might agree because of science, in the 1960's a chimp named pam was tested and took a flight on a rocket to test if going on a rocket would be safe. in conclusion the reasons people agree with animals testing is mainly to see if the invention....etc would work or not,They probably think that its okay to rather than to test a human.
I known this question has been answered but animal testing is wrong and if a human wants their cures then they should test it and not the animals as they have not asked for this and they are not have for this
What has animal testing improved?
Though animal testing is very wrong, it has helped people discover reactions to different types of medicines. Medical advances animal testing has given is basically just the fact that we are able to gain a knowledge of the medicine in short and long term, as well as it's effects on a subject before it is actually used on a person. Doing this could help humans dramatically, but looking on the flip side is very cruel to the creatures.
Is animal testing decreasing the population?
I'm not sure animal testing really affects anything. I know that some companies test their products on animals, like deodorant, perfume, makeup etc. They do that to make sure it is safe to use on humans. It is inhumane!!! They need to stop. These companies test on animals. Please stop buying their products until they stop testing.:
Pro and con of Animal testing?
Pros: Animals are less intellectually advanced. Animals are very loveable but we could use them so that we could eventually find cures to cancer and HIV. It can also help medical tools in hospitals. If you had cancer right now, would you want a cure? Or to die in a hospital bed.
Cons: animal deaths through research are considered unnecessary and are not morally different from murder. animals have the right to live there own lives, we shouldn't meddle with them just cause we can. the reaction of an animal to a drug may be very different from a humans so testing on them may be pointless.

There are plenty of companies out there who do not test their products on animals. Many times you can find this out on the packaging, companies that don't test their products on animals will state this proudly somewhere on the packaging. Also caringconsumer.com has a list of both companies that test their products on animals and those that don't. In this way you can search companies by name however another plus of this website is that you can search for cruelty free products by product.
What is the science behind animal testing?
Stage 1: Human Cells - Early tests are done on human cells grown in a laboratory. Scientists try out different concentrations of a possible new drug. They test it on different types of body cells with the disease. These tests check how well the chemical works against the disease. They also give data about how safe the drug is for cells. Stage 2: Animal Tests - If the drug passes tests on human cells, it is tried on animals. Animal trials are carried out to make sure the drug works as well in whole animals as it does on cells grown in the laboratory. Stage 3: Clinical Tests - If the drug passes the animal trials, then it can be tested on people, these tests are called clinical trials or human trials. They give scientists more data about the effectiveness and safety of the drug
