What is the average cost of an ar-15?
There are a lot of considerations, location is one of them. Some states basically don't want you to have one, such as California. Although it is possible to have one if you follow specific rules. So in a state like California the cost would be very different. In other states that don't have those rules every gun store will have one and the price will be different.
As for my research and experience an average cost for a complete rifle with basic case and basic sights, magazines, and such would be about $1200-$2000, but with that said some customization can really bring that up into the $3000 mark easily. I do know of some rifles you can get started at for as low as $800, but that does not include a decent case, and usually doesn't have any sites or are simple iron sights and is just a very simple basic rifle.
Because of all the options for customization it is very important to know what you want, and what the costs would be. Go to a few shops, look at the prices, then look online. I would also consider building one and if you do make sure you know how, check out a good website with pictures and descriptions on how to build - see the link.
They come in various lengths, dependent on the buttstock and barrel length.
Can you fire 5.45x39 through an AR-15 .223?
Just buy an AK or a special receiver and barrel for the round. Be sure to have a licensed gunsmith do the upgrade.
Short answer: Not without incurring further expense.
Why do some AR-15's have a notch on the barrel?
Those are M4 profile barrels, and the notch is to accommodate the mounting bracket for the M203 grenade launcher.
Is 3in1 oil ok to use on your ar15?
If that is all you have on hand. It will likely burn off after several rounds. Synthetic motor oil is good to use on them. Buy one quart it will last you years.
What can you buy to make your AR15 autosear?
A Type 7 or Type 10 Federal Firearms Licence, with a Class 2 Special Occupational Tax Stamp. You need to obtain that before you even think about doing this.
Can you own an ar15 in New York?
Yes. Rifles manufactured after the passage of the 1994 federal assault weapons ban (which has since gone into sunset, but New York wrote it into their state legislature) may have no more than one of the following features:
It depends on the set up of the rifle but a typical A2 style with collapsing stock has about 106 parts.
Without resorting to these crappy cast receivers (such as Hesse/Blackthorn), the cheapest assembled rifles are going to be the 'bargain bin' rifles from CMMG. If you're looking to build one, Del-Ton had the cheapest complete build kit (minus the lower) at $450.
Can you legally buy an AR-15 in the state of Iowa?
A quick reading of the Ohio gun law discloses NO specific prohibition by either manuracturer or type. This refers, of course, to the civilian version of the firearm, NOT the fully-automatic-capable military version, for which a federal license is required.
Is flash hider on post ban AR-15 illegal?
no. but to be safe check your local laws as some states/cities vary.
Added: A 'flash suppressor" is NOT illegal but a "NOISE suppressor" ("silencer") definitely is unless you have been issued a federal license to own one.
It depends on several things.
Caliber
Brand
Material
If you want a long lasting, decent one. Plan on spending around 1,000$
If you want a cheap, .22 caliber one, Mossberg sells them around 300-400$
Can a Michigan resident buy a ar15 rifle in Georgia?
No. While it IS permitted under Federal law, Michigan law limits firearm purchases to Michigan and CONTGOUS states. States that share a border with Michigan. From Michigan State Code:
The People of the State of Michigan enact:
3.111 Rifles and shotguns; purchases by residents.
Sec. 1. Residents of this state may purchase rifles and shotguns in any state contiguous thereto if they conform to the federal
gun control act of 1968 and the regulations issued thereunder, as administered by the secretary of the treasury and the laws of
the state where the purchase is made.

What year was colt AR-15 SP1 serial?
Impossible to answer without the serial number. Call Colt and they will tell you for free.
Normally the caliber is 5.56 x 45mm, which is very similar and I say basically interchangeable with another round called the .223 Remington. But other people will say that these rounds are not interchangeable because of different levels of gunpowder in them and different thicknesses of the brass shell case.
But AR-15 type rifles come in many calibers, although none are even close to the popularity of the 5.56mm / .223 caliber. The less-common calibers are 7.62 x 39mm (the round that the AK-47 uses), the 9mm handgun round, 6mm, 6.8mm, and .308 Winchester (which is similar to and arguably interchangeable with 7.62 x 51mm military ammo).
Who has complete ar15 rifles priced under 753.00?
Double Star and CMMG's bargain bin rifles. Some DPMS rifles, as well.
Don't think so: laws here say you can't have EVEN semi-auto rifles.
Let along full-autos.
