If your trying to get full synchronization, crossing the bridge is suicide. It's pretty hard even if you are not crossing the bridge. There are archers and snipers on rooftops and agiles and papal guards on the steets. My advice is head towards the water as soon as you can. Take the rooftops, because there are less archers and snipers on rooftops than agiles on the ground. DON'T jump from a high roof to the water. You might have a whole street to jump across.(Doesn't matter if you have a parachute). Stay on the ground when you jump. Don't bother using a canoe, it takes too much time to find one and you can still get shot. Dive.

The lair isn't around the tents. its actually below it. look around the area until you find a deep empty pool. the only way to access it is to repair the aqueducts around the area and it will fill up a pool allowing you to reach the lair entrance.

I'm not sure where to buy it but you can make one out of house hold items search on you tube there is loads of videos showing you how to make one.

technically it isn't the armor that's black it's the suit. Plus it looks cooler and you can't find black dye in any city.

Nothing happens, other than the entire map becomes visible. It doesn't give you an achievement or unlock, only easier travel.

you can either pick pocket a mercenary to get a refill. Or after doing a few assassinations you get a larger amount of max knives to hold.
