The first shrunken head is in a treasure chest northeast of the Thieves Guild. The second shrunken head is in a treasure chest in the romolus lair "the sixth day.

To find the first shrunken look on a cliff approximately in between the Thieves Guild and Ezio's Hideout. It's on one of the treasure maps, so you shouldn't have any trouble locating it once you've purchased those. You won't need the shop quest one to find it.

Or you can kill and rob bandits that sometimes randomly attack you but the chance of finding one off a bandit is pretty unlikely. Bandit, though, always provide something like wool and a bit of money. If you want to find bandits then sometimes they are in the town fighting guards, but you should hang around a forest type of area and wait and they normally run around the corner shouting " you money and your life!" or some other crap... Re-running sequence 3-3 always guarantees bandits... it's the one with the brothel madam on the boat. there's a good 8 bandit at least you can all the purple dye, silk, and Indian diamonds from that one... but you never know what you might get.

Shrunken Heads are a required item for the Blacksmith shop quest. They can be found one of two ways.

1. Purchase noble treasure maps. These are the biggest and best treasures. They all contain 1500+ florins and a rare item. Noble treasure maps can be purchased from art merchants for between 15,000-20,000f.

2. Kill gangs of thieves. It's a rare drop, but occasionally, highwaymen will drop shrunken heads (and other rare items like elephant ivory, ambergris, etc).

On ACB, shrunken heads are not found on corpses in the game, but in treasure chests positioned all over Roma.

You can buy treasure maps from the Art Merchants, and will allow you to see all the locations of treasure chests, there are over 300. After collecting them all, however, I only ever got 2. You need both for a Blacksmith ShopQuest called Exotica, so DON'T SELL THEM!

I did, and never found any more despite numerous thief attacks, lots of pickpocketing and almost infinite assassination contracts...
