Remember that crying is normal for babies, who cannot speak. Crying can be symptomatic of a problem (hunger, dirty diaper, cold, hot, sick, etc.), or it can come from fear, or it can be "unexplained" (e.g. colic). I have found most people tend to buy necessities.. such as clothes, baby toiletries, even nappies in bulk. I tend to think that most people have most of the practical things that are needed, as we have so much information prior to the birth for example the sex of the child. When my son was born my close girlfriend gave me a weeks worth of meals - which was a great gift, and I have done that since for other girlfriends. This is a great idea, because eating is something that tend to forget to do in the first weeks, but is important to the physical and mental health of the family. My preference is a personalised teddy bear. This is what I give all of the new babies in my circle, it's something that can be given to the child and kept forever, played with or kept on the shelf.

yes i used evaporated milk for my son whom is now 24 . he gained an average of over a lb a week and was a healthy big and still healthy to this day. now the proud father of a 2 week old and would love them to use evaprated milk too.

Honey should not be fed to infants younger than 1 year old. Clostridium bacteria that cause infant botulism usually thrive in soil and dust. However, they can also contaminate certain foods - honey in particular. Infant botulism can cause muscle weakness, with signs like poor sucking, a weak cry, constipation, and an overall decreased muscle tone (floppiness). Parents can reduce the risk of infant botulism by not introducing honey into their baby's diet until after the first birthday. As kids get older, their bodies are better able to handle the bacteria.

Absolutely. Too much activity can cause overstimulation. So can too much noise. Babies are still trying to take it all in. They are in a strange new place and can't see more than a few feet in front of their faces. You can tell they are overstimulated when they begin to fuss, they turn their head away from the toy or the noise that is overstimulating them, and they start to rub their eyes and face. It's quite easy to fix though. Take them to their bedroom, where it's quiet and calm, and just hang out in the rocking chair until baby dozes off for a nap. When they wake up, it should be back to normal.

it is completely impossible as far as i know to up your chances for having a boy or girl when just having regular sex. it's a 50:50 chance like red or black on roulette. but some doctors know how to use something called a centrofuge (spelling might be wrong i haven't spelt that word in a while aha) this spins the sperm sample around at high speeds and separates the sample out by wieght. female sperm cells as far as i know should weigh more because the x chromosome is larger than the y. so if you have an x sperm cell it should be lower in the tube since they would weigh more. and note that the woman gives one x herself and sperm and egg cells are something called haploid (they are like halves) don't try to temp fate though you don't know what fighting the universe has in store.

Well basicly babys see blue.. when their first born some of them see white when they are really newborn it would be rarely to see them with a really light blue or a white.Mostly its blue.
