What is the difference between a piggy back ride and a pony back ride?
Piggyback ride is where someone rides on another person's back whilst they are standing up on two legs. The carrier leans over slightly so the rider can straddle them just above the buttocks as their leg are held in place by the carrier.
Ponyback ride is where someone rides on another person's back whilst they are standing on all fours, usually on their hands and knees. The carrier's back is flat so the rider can sit astride their back. The rider usually rides the lower back but up by the shoulders or middle of the back can be ridden on a strong carrier.
