Definitely NOT on the person or the Carry On Luggage. I worked for some time teaching TSA Agents on inspecting luggage. And BB Guns are a "Red Flag." If you want to carry one on the aircraft you must notify the Air lines Agent that it is an Air Gun (BB) otherwise it will be confiscated and you may have to answer some questions to the Law Enforcement personal. Pellet guns can not be in "Carry on luggage" they must be in the "Checked Luggage" they can not be loaded, and must have the cylinder removed from the gun. The Marksman 20xx series of BB rifles are all rated at 300 Feet Per Second. (FPS) This will make them fairly accurate to around 30 to 40 feet after that they began to fall off. Their is no current record as to how far the BB travels.

Are you asking about the Red Ryder 94 Carbine? If so it was Mfg 1955-1962.

I think this Red Ryder gun is older. Did they make one before 1955?

New to this. This was my fathers gun ( I am 63yrs). It is a Red Ryder Daisy carbome #111.

The model 111 was made between 1963-78. Yes Daisy did make several models that looked like the Red Ryder before 1955. The model B was made between 1910-23. The model 27 was made between 1927-32. There were several others that eventually became the Red Ryder. But I need more info to identify it.

The 761XL is a BB Rifle not a Gun. There are several variations of the model 760 series. However there is only one model 761XL. It was produced 1972-78 (First Variant) 78-81 (Second Variant). i thought it was a size comparision. there a b and bbb sized balls. BB guns shoot small BBS that are normally .177 caliber (4.5mm). a bb is a ball bearing that the gun shoots. the speeds vary from 200-1500 fps (feet per second.)

It all depends on what you want to do with it. Some add a bigger spring. Some add a scope. it's up to you.

The reverse of how you took it apart. I would look on the web to try to find drawings of how to assemble the BB gun. Try looking at the company that made the BB gun first, some offer drawings of the gun and how to assemble it. www.Crosman.com offer this for most of their guns. OR you can take it to an Airgun repair shop to heve it re-assembled. Check "Airgun repair" on the Net and find a shop close to you.

Are you talking about a Gun or a Rifle? Please post the question again, except this time please add the model number, you will find it on the barrel. As far as I know Daisy doesn't make a 2006 10 pump BB Gun. They do make several single pump air rifles. However Crosman does make a multi pump Air gun, the Crosman American Classic. It this what you are asking?

Pellet guns are more powerful. They are stronger because they use a CO2 Gas, whil BB guns are spring-powered.

That depends on what is broken, worn out, or missing. well when i pull the slide back to load it it doesnt load a BB into the barrel my guess is something is missing (its a pistol by the way, a double eagle,)

Please explain how it can have an octagon barrel and no barrel. I can't find any series 799 in the cross-over list for Sears firearms, so maybe it is a bb gun, but I have never seen a bb gun with an octagonal barrel (or with no barrel). I have a Sears & Roebuck model 799.19052 air gun. It has an octagonal barrel. Sounds like your gun is missing the shot tube. Sears contracted with Daisy Air Guns to make these '1873' "Look-a-likes" from Daisy's standard 'Spittin Image' line of 1894 Carbines. They changed the butt plate to a curved design, shortened the forearm slightly and added a "brass" cap to it, and put an octagonal "sleeve" over the existing 1894 barrel. Neat looking little air gun. If you can't find the proper shot tube one can be made from the right sized tube and an end "plug" to hold it centered in the barrel.

Most BB guns use a "Smooth Bore" barrel. It just a hollow tube for a barrel. They are not consistently accurate. Speed does help some but not much. Pellet Guns and Rifles usually use a rifled barrel, one that has grooves in it. This makes the pallet spin and gives it more accuracy than a BB. There are combination BB and pellet guns made, but they are also smooth bore. I know of one BB/Pellet gun, the Gamo P-23, that is a combo bb/pellet gun. It uses a rifled barrel and special "Led BB's." The common Steel BB will ruin a rifled barrel that's why the Gamo P-23 uses "Led BB's." This barrel makes the BB spin and more accurate. Speed will increase the distance and power of a projectile.

the same thing happened to me. I was like using up all the WD40 I had, but I used the oil that came with my paintball gun, its like pelican or something, and a coat hanger to push the bb down the barrel and then it just came out of the loader
