It's the same as all the other "Red Ryder"BB guns. When you cock the lever it pulls back the spring in the Air Piston tube and locks it in place. Another spring forces the BB into place at the end of the piston tube. The trigger releases the spring allowing the spring and piston to slide forward and Air pressure fires the BB out of the barrel.

79919061 is the Sears Code name (799) and model(19061) for Daisy air rifle. The model number I can not verify, but model number 19062 is the "Daisy model 300." This may be your Rifle. (C02, Futuristic style, plastic stock, 5 shot) mfg 1968-1975.

This information is the same for any scope.

1. Rest the rifle on a sand bag or other permanent stand.

2. Sight the scope on your target at 32 feet, the normal distance you plan to shoot.

3. Fire a test shot. Look through the scope and look where you were sighting verses where the pellet struck. DON'T MOVE THE RIFLE keep it sighted on the target.

4. Remove the scope caps on the scope adjustments knobs. Adjust the scope knob (on the right side) left. where as the cross-hairs are now aligned on the pellet hole. Now the scope is pointed at the new location.

5. realign the scope back on the target by moving the rifle. Now reload the rifle and fire another test shot. You should be closer or right on target.

Follow the same procedure until you are on target.

Remember you will never be on target with every shot. Cross-wind will always have an effect on the pellets path. If you are trying to do this with BB's, be advised BB's never fly as straight as pellets and the further the target is from the barrel he wider the BB pattern will be.

Theoretically, now that you have the scope sighted. for a particular distance, say 30 feet. remember that anytime you shoot at something closer than 15 feet your shot will be slightly below the target cross-hairs and anything further than 45 feet the shot will be slightly above the target cross-hairs.

Yes and no. BSA scopes fit on a couple of grooves machined in to the top of the air chamber. These grooves don't exist on the BB but you can get blocks that have the grooves on and could glue or otherwise fix this block on the BB then the BSA scope would fit.
