Can you mix nutmeg with diphenhydramine?

I wouldn't recommend it it just because they're both deleriants, which slow down the heart rate, and can cause anything from nausia to DMT like hallucinations (at big enough doses). one or the other by itself is easy to overdose on, so mixing them would make an overdose most likely probable. also keep in mind these drugs arent like coke where you sniff a line and feel it right away, diphenhydramine may take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half before you feel anything other than sleepy, and the high lasts a couple hours, but nutmeg wont have any effect for AT LEAST 2 hours, more likely to be 4-6 hours though, before you start trippin, and the high lasts anywhere from 12 to 40 hours (no thats not a typo). a lot of people have bad reactions when taking nutmeg, and get sick, so your high for 2 days of feeling the effects of nutmeg but if you don't have experience with deleriants, its pretty much like flipping a coin weather you're going to have 2 days of a euphoric trip, or 2 days of hell puking your guts out.

Ok so i have this knockoff allergy medicine with 12 5 mg of diphenhydramine per tablespoon how many tablespoons should i take to have a fun trip but not an insainly scary one?

Diphenhydramine is the active ingredient in Benadryl, an antihistamine medication used to reduce histamine in the body. It will not cause you to trip, but will make you drowsy and/or loopy. 12.5 mg is equivalent to half of a normal dose of Benadryl.

Can you take Benadryl 25 mg after taking Allegra 180 mg this morning?

The active ingredients of Allegra and Benadryl are different and do not react with each other. Therefore, it is possible to take both. Do be aware, however, that this combination may increase the side effect of drowsiness.

What can happen if you took 62.5 milligrams of Benadryl by accident?

Benadryl is the brand name for the drug diphenhydramine. It's used in lots of over the counter analgesics and sleep aids, and also in injectable form to reverse histamine allergic reactions.

The normal dose for over the counter use is 50mg. I would think that an accidental dose of 62mg would make you a little drowsy, but not much of anything else. I wouldn't worry about it. Remember that advice given out on the internet is no substitute for that of a qualified health professional, if you feel that your health is at risk, visit a doctor.

Does Benadryl really reduce a fever in a dog?

Benadryl is an antihistamine. It does not work on or affect the temperature center of biological organisms.

Now, if you're referring to the term "Hay Fever" which is another term for allergies, pollen irritants, etc. yes, you can give Children's Benadryl, in SMALL doses to a dog or cat to help them with sneezing, dry cough, etc.

Do this only after you have called a vet and spoken with them or a vet tech to ensure that you're giving the right proportion of medicine-to-body-weight ratio.

I've used it in my ferrets and cats for allergies, sneezing, etc. and never had any problems. It does have a sedating, sleep inducing affect, so they may get sleepy after being given the medicine.

If your dog has a real fever, then you need to check with your vet to determine why there is fever and what can be given safely to the animal to control the fever.

Why bromine is used for the synthesis of Diphenhydramine?

diphenhydramine is preapred by reduction of benzophenone to benzhydrol , it then condensed with dimethyl amino ethyl chloride hydrochloride - Williamson's Ether synthesis to Diphenhydramine base , which converted in its hydrochloride salt .

Your dog ate 125 mg of diphenhydramine hydrochloride do you need to take him to the vet He is a 9 month Golden Retriever that is about 50 lbs?

That would be a hefty dose even for a full grown adult human. You need to at the very least call them. In all likelihood, they will want him to come in.

How much benadryl should you give a 5lb dog so you make her relax enough while your giving the dog a hair cut?

You don't give your dog any that could kill it. This is from a dog breeder.

If you wan't to calm your dog pet it while you do it or have it eat while you do it.

DISREGARD THAT!!! Please do not rely on information from breeders; they are NOT veterinarians. I am a pre-vet student and I have worked at a veterinary hospital for over 3 years. DOGS CAN HAVE BENADRYL!! In fact, some of the dogs that we see have had reactions to some vaccines, so we give them an injection of diphenhydramine (generic name for benadryl) before, in order to prevent another allergic reaction. The oral form of diphenhydramine (Benadryl) is even more safe - we usually recommend 1mg of benadryl per 1lb of body weight up to three times daily (i.e., a 25lb dog can safely take one 25mg benadryl tablet every 8 hours).

Again, PLEASE talk to your veterinarian BEFORE relying on what the breeder says. Yes, there are some great breeders out there that work in conjunction with veterinarians, so they don't give clients false information; however, please remember that they are NOT the doctor, and that your veterinarian will always give you a better, more accurate answer.

What all does Benadryl make you show positive for on a drug test?

My boyfriend took a drug test the other day and he showed positive for a bunch of drugs. The thing is that, as me an eye witness, my boyfriend has not taken any drugs besides benadryl. So, as I have stated above, what all can benadryl show up as on a drug test? I know that it can be pcp and methamphetamines; but what else can benadryl cross react as on a urine drug test?

Can you take benadryl clindamycin and rimadyl together when a three month old puppy is involved?

You definitely need to talk to your Vet. I find it difficult to believe a Vet would prescribe Rimadyl for a 3-month old puppy, and I presume you care enough about your puppy to treat it ONLY with medications OK'd by your Vet.

What happens if you take Benadryl and Wellbutrin together?

You might need a nap.  But Wellbutrin tends to increase energy while Benadryl causes drowsiness, so they might cancel each other out.  As a Wellbutrin user, I find that taking a 24 hour allergy medication before bed is sufficient.
