Yes, you could probably get some psychoactive effects off of the diphenhydramine, but if there are any other ingredients, it might cause serious harm.

No you do not want to take two medications that make you drowsy at the same time.

If you think you have a spider bite...you should still see a doctor. Recently people have been mistaking spider bites for a serious and possibly fatal MRSA infection. I was given 50 mg Benadryl (diphenhydramine, generic, is available in sleep aid sections as well as antihistamine sections OTC) after a black widow bite and it did help a lot. If it is a brown recluse spider bite, you should see a doctor. People die from both of these types of spider bites.

Unless you're a veterinarian (which I will assume you aren't since you are asking the internet for dose rates), to prescribe your dog Benadryl would be considered practicing veterinary medicine without a licence.

If your dog is sick, take it to the vet. They will prescribe for it what it needs, (which may or may not be benadryl), and tell you how much to give.

if you took enough of these to get you high, you would die. There are 25mg of antihistamine in each pill, it would put you into a sleep that you would NOT wake up from. If you want a cheap high go to the 99 cent store and pick up a 4 oz bottle of tussin cough syrup. It has dextromethorphan AKA DXM AKA Triple C, which will get you high if u drink the whole thing. I do not recommend you do this though, over the summer i got addicted to that cr@p and it was a b!tch trying to kick the addiction. Plus it f|_|cked the sh!t out of my stomach, the pains the next morning suck a$$. Just go pick up some weed and listen to some good music, best high plain and simple.

This isn't true at all. In fact, there are many stories of people tripping off of Benadryl. However, I wouldn't. Instead, pick up some pure dextromethorphan (DXM) AND NOT TRIPLE C'S- They contain harmful chemicals. This can be found in cough syrups or pills. Also, you can use pure diphenhydramine to get high, found in sleeping pills. MAKE SURE they do not contain acetaminophen, as in high doses, this will kill you.

(LD50 for diphenhydramine is 500mg/kg in rats- I would not reccomend more than 1,000 mg, and not more than 600mg for a first trip. Same goes for DXM.)

The best over the counter medications for allergies are Zyrtec, Allegra and Benadryl. Zyrtec and Benadryl can cause fatigue so it's best to take it at night.

We have mixed small(ish) doses of Valium with benadryl in order to get a deeper sleep on long flights. Haven't had any problems. The benadryl seems to amplify the effect and actually cause sleepiness, while Valium on its own just has a relaxing (but not necessarily sleeping) effect. Just be careful not to take too much benadryl or you will be REALLY TIRED for a LONG TIME. Diphenhydramine (Benadryl), an antihistamine, and antidepressants such as amitryptiline (Elavil), have similar effects as anticholinergics and may be appropriate for older patients.

I'm neither a doctor or a pharmacist, but I do know that benadryl (Diphenhydramine) is an antihistamine and Amoxicillin is an antibiotic so they are much different drugs. If you have questions, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Pills when they take the liquid they seem to throw it up also with pills you can give more of a better dose and without any spilling

For benadryl the dosage is 1mg per pound in mild cases, if there is a severe reaction such as swelling after vaccination you can use 2mg per pound.

It's never a good idea to take medicine past its expiration.

Mixing heavy medicial or low overdose(4-6 25mg doses) of Diphenhydramine and low doses(insufflated) of oxy(5-10mg) produce the effects similar to a larger dose of oxy with some sideeffects of DPH

Benedryl (diphenhydramine) is an ingredient of Tylenol PM so you should not combine the two.

Generally, just about anything that claims to be a night time formula or sleep aid will have something similar to Benedryl in it.

Just about anything that says it is a daytime formula or is a decongestant will have something similar to Sudafed in it.

I am no doctor, but I believe you can mix weed with anything and be alright. However the two legal drugs might cause some undesirable side affects.

Don't ask that here. People can't reply fast enough. Read the warnings on the bottle and call a doctor or poison control center to find the answer. But yes. If you've taken more than ten 25mg pills, you might be developing a stomach ulcer, or internal stomach bleeding. It's not usually life-threatening though, but have a doctor look at you right away.

Benadryl makes your mouth numb because it has a compound known as dioxococain.

Very similiar to regular cocain. If you chew it up your mouth will feel like you just took a gummy of powder. Only difference is you wont get all sped up in fact you will get tired and pass out.
