For me it had to be my first bike when I was 5. It was pink with tassels and a white basket at the front. It also had a bell on it, and a seat at the back for my toys. Any little girl would have loved it.

first of all you should make sure the receiver is christian, or at least has an open mind about Christianity. someone who does not fit this description will probably be offended at such a gift. as to what it means if they do, that you love them (in the platonic sense) and that you think they would enjoy reading it. some people i know have several bibles and would only enjoy getting such gifts.

i think honestly if your ex remembers your birthday then he must miss you and still remembers the tiny things that were there when y'all were still together. but it depends on the type of guy he is; if he is just a genuinely sweet guy then he is trying to be nice. but if he isn't that kind of guy it probably means that he still likes you, and maybe even wants to get back together eventually! IT ALSO DEPENDS ON THE TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP YALL HAVE!! i cannot emphasize how important it is to not let yourself read into it way to much... he may just think y'all are casual friends who remember each others birthday's.

One really special thing you can do for an 80 year old person is, go to white house.gov and locate birthday cards. If you fill in the information they will send her a birthday card signed by the president of the United States. No kidding.They will!! If you have trouble finding it check for the white house phone number and the switchboard will put you in touch with the right people.

-have another day of fun just you and her by having a sleepover or something

-say sorry that you missed her birthday and give her something extra special

If (s)he stays mad, it's ok. Let that person calm down, instead of starting a fight, or forcing that person to forgive you, just nicely talk to her, explaining why you forgot or missed her birthday and how sorry you are and how to make it up by doing a sleepover or going to the beach or something fun!
