Ok I have a birthmark on my stomach and it goes from the belly button to the top of the rib cage. I believe this meens you might have slight troubles through your teen years but in the future anything can happen.

Yes i have one, its blonde wile the rest of my hair is dark brown, who even answered this before me was a jerk and not much help but i hope this clears it up a little

My older sister and I have TWO of the same shape birthmarks each in the exact same places on our bodies. It's always been weird, but we did share the same womb, so I chalk it up to a similar experience in utero. Metaphysics would suggest it means that we are either linked together on our soul's journey or we are indeed the same soul playing out two lifetimes simultaneously. We are oddly similar in nature.

As birthmarks are the result of anomalies in skin pigmentation or blood vessels in the skin, it is an easy presumption that anything with skin may develop 'birth marks' or be born with one or more, regardless of species. Perhaps a notable exception would be albinos; the result of a lack of skin pigmentation.

Birthmarks have been studied and interpreted for centuries. A heart shaped birthmark tends to mean you will be lucky at love. how the shape is situated (upside down, right-side up, tilted, on its side) is less important than where the mark is.

Well, that's a tough one. A birthmark is called a birthmark because it is something that you have when you are born. It isn't something that you add later. That would be a tattoo or other body art. So, no, you can't get a birthmark if you don't already have one, but yes, a birthmark can appear anywhere, including on a womans nipples.

You can get a tattoo almost anyplace as well, but you might want to ask how much it will hurt... they are especially painful on sensitive parts of the body.

No, most people don't have any birthmark. Birthmarks are much more common on fair-haired light skin. My daughter was a pale colored strawberry blonde and had a birthmark when she was born. But birthmarks can also fade as a person ages until the mark is almost not noticeable anymore.
