Inviting a PROFESSIONAL licensed piercer to your home because any other way is stupid. A belly button piercing is the only common piercing considered a "surface" piercing and is the longest healing and most often rejected piercing there is. Placement, needle size and symmetry are not only important for esthetic but more so for proper healing. Burning a needle and letting your punk friend do it is just asking for an infection, a unattractive scar and lots of regrets when you're older.

Yep, go for it. Usually the issue with Muslims doing things (dying hair, piercings etc) is that it ain't good to show it off. As long as you don't flaunt your helix specifically to attract male attention (and anyone who says you'll do this is a bit silly) it's fine. To be perfectly honest you'll find a lot of opinions on this, but if the lobes of the ear and the nose is accepted, why not the helix? It's not exactly a nipple piercing. Enjoy your new piercing!

Because someone didn't know the proper terminology and made up a name. Technically, it is simply a philtrum and a labret. Most of these "___ bites" names seem to simply be made up either by people who want a name to describe a specific pairing of piercings or by people who just want to look cool and don't think "paired labrets on the right side" works as well. (Yes, all lower lip piercings are technically "labrets" and all upper lip piercings are technically "philtrums.")

Depends on the shop. Most common sizes are 14ga and 16ga. I've also seen a lot done at 12ga. You can request what gauge you want but some shops wont do cartilage piercings any smaller than 14ga.

Yes, I think that your son should get his ears pierced. My son is 13 and has two piercings in each ear. He loves them along with a lot of other people. My wife (obviously) has her ears pierced, but she also has a lip ring and a nose ring

Best way to take care of it and clean it is salt water clean it atleast 3times a day or more if need be it may itch but it's normal because of the salt dries up around the alcohol and hydrogen peroxide are good too however the piercing won't heal as quickly
