You have to be 18 unless you're accompanied by a parent or guardian, at least that's what it was where I went to get my lip pierced. My dad had to sign a couple papers and I signed a couple too. Him and I both needed a form of identification. I brought my birth certificate and he had his license.

You take out the earrings - they're probably made of cheap metal that caused you to have an infection! Sterilize the holes by squeezing alcohol through it with a cotton ball, and if it doesn't clear up, see your doctor. You'll have to leave the earrings out until the infection heals, though, because otherwise it will just irritate the infected area more.

There isn't a way you can get rid of it. that is swelling from the piercing.

It may be many things. If it hurts, seeps, oozes or bleeds then it's an infection of some kind, or swelling and the best way to deal with that would be salt water soaks (boiling water + half teaspoon of sea salt allowed to cool to warm water, soak your piercing in it for a few minutes twice a day.)

However, if there's no pain or discharge then it's probably scar tissue which is slightly harder to get rid of, changing the jewellery to something better fitting can help. If the scar is around a ring or other curved jewelry, switch to something straight, like a barbell. If it's on an industrial, put individual jewelry in each piercing. Consult your piercer for jewelry changes in unhealed piercings. Other solutions can be cammomile tea bag compresses (soak in warm water, hold to the piercing twice a day) or massaging with vitamin E oil.

It takes on average 3 - 5 weeks for this piercing to heal. It is fairly quick most importantly because every time that you urinate, you are bathing the site in sterile and warm liquid so it has a chance to heal much faster than it conventionally would in another location.

Nope! I have my ears pierced, nose, and belly button. And honestly, the nose was probably the LEAST painful! It hurts a little when they push the needle through, but after about 5 minutes it didn't even hurt at all. It was like I had had the piercing forever. Mine wasn't even tender. Most painless piercing in my opinion.

Yes that and several other communicable diseases, jewellery should never be "shared". The fine imperfections in the metal or plastic can hold bacteria and viruses that can "cross contaminate" the other person. This why body piercing studios will never pierce you with jewellery you bring into the shop unless they sterilize it in an "autoclave".

Boiling, washing, soaking in alcohol will not "sterilize" anything, disinfect maybe but "sterilize" NO. So with all the possible infections you can get from sharing jewellery, not with standing your concern about Herpies, there is also Staph, Strep, HIV, Meningitis, Hepatitis, Tetanus, MRSA and a few other nasties out there you should also be concerned about.

Take it out. I had mine pierced and it ripped out. So unless you want two skin flaps I suggest you take it out. If you want it re-pierced then you can get it done again after it's closed up. :)

When it's not healed, clean it with antibacterial soap of a liquid specifically for cleaning piercings.

It depends. Some people find ornamentation such as nose rings to be disturbing. Others find them no more disturbing thaan pierced ears. If the jewelry worn in the nose piercing is simple and understated, it should not be a problem, though.
