What is the most popular bowling ball among pro women?

There are four companies the seem to be more popular than others. Storm (probably most), Colombia 300, Brunswick, and Hammer. I am personally a Hammer freak specifically the Black Widow series of balls. From all the different balls that I have used, the Black Widow seems (to me) to have the smoothest of rolls and it really impacts into the pocket, I love it. I have had other balls, but I always come back to the Hammer Black Widow. I get excited when a new one is released. That is only my opinion and you have to find what you love. You really have to try different balls until you are happy. I am happy with Hammer! I am NOT a professional bowler! Jason J. Mullen

Why do you pull the bowling ball to the left?

It depends on if you're right handed or left. If right handed, it could be that your hand is rotating clockwise as you are delivering the ball, which is called a backup ball. As you are delivering the ball, try to only slightly turn the hand counter-clockwise or keep it in a position where as you release the ball, your thumb comes up between the 10-12 oclock position and fingers at the 4-6 position.

Can I go ten pin bowling while plegnant?

Yes! You can! But as in all physical activity when pregnant, you should consult your doctor and get his opinion and advice. Chances are, if you were fairly active before pregnancy, continuing after you become pregnant won't be an issue.

I work at a pro shop in our bowling ally and the number one injury in the sport (well besides dropped balls) is People who will bend down while delivering the ball and strain the muscles in the back.

So if your pregnant just take it easy on your back and try to not bent over while relesing your ball, And try more to use the pendulum motion and let the ball roll off your fingers.

So go bowling and have fun!

AnswerI think you will be okay but I would use the lightest ball and just be careful and try not to use too many muscles or straining!

Answer :

...........1 Professional bowler Earl Anthony, who held the record for career titles until about 2007, once said as a color analyst on a bowling telecast, "Call the pins by their number, not by their name." He meant that many bowlers had colorful (or more exactly, off-color) names for the pins that remained standing, usually on what looked like a hit that should have knocked them all down. Otherwise, the 1-pin, in the front center of the triangle of pins, is called the head pin. The 7 and 10 pins are "corner pins", being in the other corners of a full rack of pins. According to another pro Hall of Fame announcer, Nelson "Bo" Burton, in the fall of 2008, he said that Latin players call the 8 or 9 pin a "ghost" pins if either remains standing after what looks like a good strike pocket hit -- i.e., between the 1 and 3 pins for a righthander, or 1 and 2 pins for a lefthander, assuming they throw like the vast majority of players who hook the ball from right to left as a righthander or left to right as a lefthander.
