Of course, if the young ladies' classmates are all getting bras and your young lady does not have one...or need one, it is still a matter of peer pressure to acquire a couple to help over the awkwardness of the situation. Peer pressure can be a powerful motivator to ask for something that might not be necessary. Buy the thing anyway...she'll grow into it.
