Unfortunately what you may have seen as a "great" relationship is not the way she had seen it as deciding to leave wasn't overnight, she likely was thinking about it for sometime. If it has been two months now and no contact that would indicate she has no intention of talking with you and it may be in your best interest to let things be, let go and move on as she has. I realize it may not be what you want to hear and I realize your at a loss but you have to get by this and allow yourself to move on.

My opinion to this is that all people are different and in my experience if you don't want them to hate you, you need to break up with them gently and not hard.
