What is the value of a 1967 Browning Superposed 12 ga OU Belgian made shotgun?
I own a Browning Superposed 12 Ga Lightning Standard in 85% condition and its retail value is approx $1,050. Depending on which model Superposed you have and its condition, your value could be considerably lower or substantially higher. The last two digits of the serial number indicate the gauge and year of manufacture IE, S7, S= 12 Ga and 7= 1967. If you look at the bottom of the receiver in front of the triggerguard you should find the model name, this will help you get a more accurate estimate. The only way to get a truly accurate appraisal though is to take the shotgun to a reliable dealer and have them give you a wholesale/trade in vale and a retail value based on the guns actual condition.
