Current Canadian nickels weigh 3.95 gm so there are 127 nickels in a half-kilo, rounded to the nearest whole number of coins.

All British predecimal Pennies from 1860 to 1967 were made from bronze.

The percenatge of the metals in the alloy changed a little over the years, but from 1945 to 1967 they were 95.5% copper, 3% tin and 1.5% zinc.

To a collector of dimes, yes. To be collectible merely means that there is someone out there who would collect it. If you mean valuable that is different from collectible as not all collectible coins have much value. 1960 dimes are common and worth their melt value in silver about $2 right now. Exceptionally well preserved, or mint state coins will have an added premium worth in the $10 range.

Unless there's a small C next to the date, it's only worth about $2.50 retail; a dealer will pay face value. 1953-C $2 bills are a bit more valuable, and can be worth roughly $3 to $6 depending on how worn they are.

It's an ordinary circulation coin worth only face value.

If it's a bullion piece it'll have its gold weight somewhere in the design, so it'll be worth at least as much as that amount of gold.

If it's a $1 coin with a swimming loon on one side above the date, it's not gold. Like its less-used American counterpart the coin is made of base metal and is only worth a buck. The gold color is actually a brass alloy.

This coin has a silver value of about $10 being 80% pure. 1956 was a low mintage year with less than 140,000 of these coins minted. There are many of these coins on the market and the price appears to be depressed due to lack of attention to the rarity. It is the lowest mintage since the rare 1948 coin and lower than any other such coin since the 1930s and earlier when there were lower mintages. An average price for this coin in above average condition is about $20. It should appreciate in value as silver prices continue to rise and the rarity of the coin is also noticed by more people.

It depends on the year and denomination. The rabbit design (actually a hare) was struck as part of the 1967 Centennial celebration. Huge numbers were made and almost immediately saved as mementos, so unless your coin is in absolutely top condition it's only worth 5 cents. It's still worth hanging on to it as a conversation piece though.

1901 is not considered a rare date -- in circulated condition it's worth about a dollar.
