As an adult he also made loud noises at 5:30 AM which woke me up. I still loved him. I just wanted you to consider that, not that ALL capybaras are like that. Maybe it was just him. Now, back to the question. I lived in Missouri, where it is legal to have. As for most of the states western, they are pretty much legal. In a few towns, they might not be, but you can contact your city. As for the states eastern, it usually isn't legal.
