Casey Anthony Trial

Casey Anthony was acquitted on all charges relating to the death of her daughter by decision of a jury on July 5, 2011. She was convicted on four charges of giving false sworn statements to police and received a sentence of four years in jail. She was given credit for time served and time off for good behavior and released from jail on July 17, 2011 with no further criminal charges pending.

Jury selection in the Casey Anthony trial began on May 9, 2011; the trial begins on May 24, 2011. On July 5, 2011 the jury delivered a verdict of not guilty in the death of Caylee Anthony, guilty on four charges of providing false information to police. On those charges, Casey Anthony was sentenced to four years in jail and a $4000. fine.

Well, yes. When a guy was peeing he saw a bag and kicked it to see if anything was there. And a skull rolled out. FBI says it is the body of a young child. It was in a river for 6 months and now someone must of saw it, take it out of the river, and lay it on the ground. The head was covered in duct tape. Oh, one more important thing: it was found 20 houses from the Anthonys. So everyone believes that it is little Caylee's and Casey did it. They identified that the bones the guy found in the woods were in fact 3-year-old Caylee Anthony!!! The bag was found 15 houses away from the Anthony home!!! They say it was Caylee's mom Casey who killed her with house tools and other stuff on Google and Wikipedia. Yes!!!! No one knows who it is but let me tell you what happend to Caylee Anthony Ok ever since little Caylee went missing the mother has been lying and lying and lying some people even say she never wanted Caylee but it was not cool for Caysee to knock her out with chloroform shes just a kid for goodness sake! And we all know that Zenida Gonzalez never abducted Caylee for a fact she does not even know Caylee nor Caysee! But the typeof death was homicide and Caysee kept on asking her mother Cindy Anthony to give her a few more days and Cindys response was no i already given you enough and she never even searched for caylee she only went out to party and the sickest thing is that people kept on asking brother, Lee Anthony if he was the biological father why the helk would they ask him? Hes the uncle for goodness sake!The metor reader stumbled on a tiny human skeleton that has litterally rolled out from Caysees car!They have confirmed it to be Caylee!Caysee said for the funural for Caylee to be private but it wasnt private because almost the whole world has heard about this situation and they have looked for Caylee but there was no sign of her!So of course almost everyone was there because she is a beautiful three year old girl and was murdered. Caysee did not even dare to watch for her own little girls funeral!

It's important to understand that our judicial system is not without it's flaws. Sometimes innocent people are convicted of crimes they did not commit. Other times, the guilty go free. It is also important to point out that circumstantial evidence and a case based on this type of evidence is every bit as damning as physical evidence, which is why it is given great weight under the laws of our country.

This being said, it would be virtually impossible, based on this evidence, that Casey Anthony was not responsible for the death of her daughter. As was with the case of Scott Peterson, piece by piece, the evidence leaves only one option, the guilt of Casey Anthony.

Why the jury was blind to this evidence is unknown since they have all refused to speak about the case in general, the verdict specifically. The way it looks, the verdict was arrived at because of 'case not proven'. In other words, the burden of guilt falls to the prosecution. They must prove that Anthony is guilty. If there is reasonable doubt, the jury could and should aquit. Not that she wasn't guilty but that the prosecution could not prove it, in their opinion.

But for the rest of the world it is hard to understand how they could discount the viable evidence the prosecution presented. When dealing with humans and their emotions, nothing is a sure thing.

Duct Tape

In the guilt phase of a criminal trial a jury that is not unanimous is considered a 'hung jury'. At the point where jurors are hopelessly deadlocked the judge will dismiss them and the prosecution must decide to retry the case. If they feel it's a strong case most prosecutors will try the case again. This leaves everyone back at square one. Jury selection begins and the entire process is repeated with the new jurors. It's expensive for taxpayers and torture for the family members of the victim(s) and the accused. The only bright spot is that both the prosecution and the defense get a second chance to correct any errors they may have made during the first trial.

Yes. He was also tested to be Casey's daughter's (Caylee) father on the basis that he molested Casey, and he was cleared of being the father. There has been no evidence that George molested Casey. Casey became pregnant at 19 and the father is not publicly known.

Casey Anthony is very unlike any Greek god; Casey Anthony is very human.

On January 25, 2010, Casey Anthony pleaded guilty to 13 charges of check fraud. Orange County Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland found Anthony guilty on six of the charges: one count of grand theft, four counts of check forgery, and fraudulent use of personal identification. He sentenced Anthony to time served (412 days she's already been jailed) and one year of probation. He also ordered her to pay the court and investigative costs associated with the check-fraud case.

Amanda Knox has not befriended Casey Anthony. The media is just making it out to be something that it's not. However, the public would definitely love to see them befriend each other so that there would be more gossip.

Caylee Anthony died sometime in the middle of June 2008. Due to the complete decomposition of her remains, the exact date and cause of her death remains unknown. Her mother, Casey Anthony, was acquitted of all charges relating to the child's death by a jury at trial on July 5, 2011.

I would try YouTube or Google. Many news websites streamed it live, but since it has passed I am not sure the video is still there to view. And then of course you can wait for it to come on Court TV or a television station that airs trials.

A not guilty verdict does not necessarily mean that she did not kill or cause the death of her daughter. It means that the jury did not find the evidence against her compelling enough to convict her. Many people still believe that she is responsible for the child's death. Witnesses testified that she was a great mother but we also know that Casey was adept at faking many things. Her supporters believe that she had no reason at all to kill her daughter, but one of the conflicts brought out at trial was Casey's issues with her mother's need to control her; that control was, in part, her mother's care and control of the child. She may have killed Caylee to break the control her mother exerted. An opinion of my own is that the child was three, soon to be four years old. Children of that age are well known for speaking what's on their mind and asking embarrassing questions out of honest curiosity. It's part of their intellectual development. Casey may have seen that her false life and her lies would soon be coming to light. The fact that the duct tape was not removed from the dead child is a hint at that possibility.

Since Casey Anthony can no longer be prosecuted further in the death of her daughter and no other suspects have come to light, we most likely will never know for sure who killed Caylee or why she died. Casey Anthony is legally not guilty of killing her daughter but the public is free to think what they like.

According to the evidence presented by the prosecution in the trial of Casey Anthony, duct tape was the cause of the child's death by suffocation. The chemical, chloroform, may have been involved but because the child's body was fully decomposed when found, an official cause of death could not be determined.
