I believe so, he had a long list of more or less itinerant ( traveling) crimes such as serial auto theft. this in no way links him to the song: ( Indiana wants me) by R. Dean Taylor.

I think it is safe to say it wasn't his clothes or his meticulous grooming habits. But as with other cult leaders, Manson had a certain charisma that some found attractive. Over the years in prison, Manson has morphed into a sad old man, with nothing of importance to contribute. I doubt his younger self would barely recognize what he has become.

Charles Manson was married 5 different times.

I can find evidence of only one marriage. In 1955 Manson marrried a waitress named Rosalie Willis. They had one son named Charles, Jr. They divorced in 1958 and Willis took Charles, Jr. and moved away.

I will have to eat my words now. On further research, I found a second marriage for Manson. In 1959 Manson met and married a prostitute named Leona 'Candy' Stevens. The marriage produced a son but lasted only long enough for Manson to get himself incarcerated again. Leona filed for divorce and retained custody of the child.

Manson was obessed with the Beatles, especially the White album. He claimed that the members of the group were sending him messages pertaining to the apocolypse and the end of the world.

He does not. With the passing of the 'Son of Sam' law, which prohibits criminals to benefit financially from their crimes, he can receive no money whatsoever. Although I do believe if he holds the copyrights on some of his music that is his to keep.

Wilson would have had to be paralyzed from the neck up not to understand how dangerous Manson was. In fact, Wilson abandoned his expensive beachfront home in Malibu, rather than try to have Manson evicted. What began as a friendly gesture on Wilson's part, inviting Manson and his chums to stay at his home for a few days, ended months later with Wilson finding a new residence and considered himself lucky that all that was lost was a piece of real estate.

Long after Manson and family had vacated Wilson's Malibu home, Wilson was still keeping a very low profile and with good reason. The word got back to Wilson that Manson was angry at the Beach Boy due to record producer Terry Melcher's reluctance to sign Manson for a record deal. In true Manson style, he claimed he was going to kill Melcher and Wilson, claiming they renigged on the record deal. In fact, Wilson only promised Mason he would ask Melcher to listen to Manson, not offer him a recording contract. Wilson and Melcher fulfilled their end of the deal. In hindsight, both Wilson and Melcher were incredibly lucky to escape with their lives.

If you are referring to Charles Manson, who was responsible for the murder of several people in the 1960s, yes he is still alive.

I think you mean Jeremiah Dixon and Charles Mason. The Mason-Dixon Line loosely separated the North from the South prior to and during the Civil War. It was actually a line between two neighbors, Dixon and Mason in the mid-1700's, and their property dispute is now an American legend.

Charles wrote to the beach boys but There's a good reason Manson couldn't have attended the Monkees audition: he was incarcerated at MacNeil Island when they took place.

Sharon Tate was the actress that was the Manson Family's victim. Charles Manson did not actually kill her or anyone else, but was convicted of conspiracy in the crimes.

Most solitary cells measure 6' x 9'. It probably doesn't sound that small but spending a lifetime in that space would be very claustraphobic.

Lynette Fromme was released on parole from the Federal Medical Center Carswell in Fort Worth, Texas after serving 34 years for trying to shoot then-President Ford in 1975.

Susan Denise Atkins suffering from terminal brain cancer her 13th parole hearing with 85 percent of her body paralyzed the parole board denied her release. Susan Atkins died on September 24, 2009, at the Central California Women's facility in Chowchilla. Her ashes were given to her family.

Patricia Krenwinkel is also serving life in prison at California Institution for Women at Frontera. She did not appear at her last parole hearing in 1997.

Linda Kasabian Was granted immunity for giving evidence against Manson and other family members. Following the trial she left California. Her present whereabouts are unknown but she is alleged to have committed other criminal offences and served time in prison.

Sandra Good Was convicted of "issuing threatening communications through interstate commerce" in 1975 and served ten years at the Federal Correctional Institute, Terminal Island, California. She was later transferred to the Federal Correctional Institute in Pleasanton and later to a prison in Alderson. Following her release, she moved to an area close to Corcoran prison, where Manson is held, and tends his website.

Bruce Davis is serving a life sentence in the California Men's Colony, San Luis Obispo, for the murders of Gary Hinman and Donald Shea. He attended his twentieth parole hearing in July of 2000. Parole was again refused.

Bobby Beausoleil Convicted in 1969 for his part in the murder of Gary Hinman, he remains in prison despite numerous appeals and bail applications. He married in 1982 and is currently serving out his time in Oregon after being transferred there in 1993 at his own request.

Leslie Van Houten is currently a prisoner at the California Institution for Women, Frontera.

The Spahn Ranch, the original headquarters of the Manson family is also on the market. The property 43-acre at Chatsworth, minus the ranch house, which burnt down some time ago, is selling for $2.7 million.

Charles Manson was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder for his role in the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. He did not personally carry out the killings but directed his followers, known as the Manson Family, to do so. Manson was sentenced to life in prison in 1971 and remained incarcerated until his death in 2017.

As far as I can tell Manson had no connection to Winton, CA. Whether he ever passed through no one knows. In the early 1970s Winton had the highest crime rate for a city it's size in the country. By the time it was declared the most dangerous city, Manson was already in jail and had been for quite a while. So I think that rules him out.

She was. If fact she was one of the first members, meeting Manson in San Francisco in 1968. They migrated south, adding new members as they found them. Frome was also the oldest of the female family members, and probably had the most in higher education. (college)

If Frome wasn't famous enough for being a member of Manson's family, she was imprisoned after trying to assissinate President Ford. She seemed rather lost after Manson's arrest. As the oldest she more or less took over the running of the family, or what was left of it, and tried to hold it together until (what they thought anyway) would be the day when Manson would be released.

I have finally found some validity to Charles Manson living in the state of Tennessee. His maternal grandmother lived in Grahn, TN and there is reason to believe that he and his mother lived there for a short time when he was young.

Manson was a contributing factor in the death of America's innocence. The Summer of Love was just an illusion and 'make love, not war' was just a way to spread VD. We never really recovered entirely from the Tate-LaBianca murders. We didn't feel the same about our country or ourselves. Manson was a precursor to Bundy, Gacy, Dahmer, BTK, Green River Killer Ridgeway and his madness somehow tainted our society.

We are smarter now. We have criminal profiling and DNA. But we can barely stay one step behind this epidemic of remorseless killers that constantly stalk the innocent and unaware. Modern technology is great but most of us would love to go back to a simpler time before Charles Manson.
