STRETCH! I know every body who wants to become flexible says this but, this is the answer!
1. Work on grabbing lower (don't grab your toe, try to grab your shin).
2. Once you have a scorpion up, pull it closer to you.
3. Do splits a lot and once your in the right leg splits try to grab your scorpion.
4. Get a stretch band

How much do pro cheerleaders for competition get paid?
it depends on lets say what competions you have done, or what your teacher thinks of you and also how much you cheer-lead in a week. its not something anyone can say; if your looking to do cheerleading, email a cheer-leading club and ask these questions.
Spirit line is when we chant, the crowd can come on the court or on the field to yell the chant with us and clap. And it is not the same as cheer leading. Cheer leading is stunts, tumbling, yelling, practicing, timing, synchronization, memorization, etc. not yelling along to just one chant.
What is a sponge in cheerleading?
A sponge is a three based stunt where the flyer loads into the stunt in a sitting position and freezes (knees and feet together). Her arms should be on the shoulders of the side bases and should be completely locked out. The flyer should carry her weight in her shoulders. The side bases should be holding the flyers feet. The back base should be holding the flyer's ankles or the upper part of the flyer's legs. From a sponge, the flyer can easily transition to a standing position (half-extension, extension, liberty etc.). The sponge to a standing position and back to a sponge is a drill that is often used to develop control and consistency in a stunt team.

Why do your legs shake when you fly in cheerleading?
When you squeeze your muscles really hard (like in a stunt) your muscles may shake because they're working so hard. It's totally normal, it happens to everyone.

put your legs in a strattle, lean down to both sides, and the middle. also work on middle splits. also, do leg lifts and high-kicks as much as possible. :)
an elevator stunt is a cheer stunt where you have 2 bases 1 flyer 1 back spot and an optional front spot,
The bases have the flyer in a sponge at first and then one base moves to a prep and then the other base moves a little higher than a prep and then you repeat the procedure until you are at an extension

How do you get your right hurdler?
If you are talking about the cheerleading jump, then there are many things to help improve/get a right hurdler. First of all, you need to have flexibility especially in your right and left legs. A way to stretch for this, is to do a right split. Make sure to keep your hips squared and chest toward the front. Once your legs can be flat against the ground and you are not resting on your back knee try to lay your chest down on your front leg.
To complete the actual jump, you need to jump off the ground. Your right leg should be straight in front of you, with your knee turned toward the ceiling/sky. Your left leg should be behind you but instead of like in your split you need to bend your knee. A good thing to remember is to try and kick your behind. Both feet should be pointed, not flexed. Your arms should be placed in "candle sticks" and placed by your ears. Your chest should not be leaned forward. Try to bring your front leg to your chest, not your chest to your leg. And remember always smile(:

figure 8's u take the baton in your right hand and you pretend that you have vinilla ice-cream in front of you and chocolate in the back of you, you dip the baton in the vinilla fist then in thhe chocolate and repeate until you are able to do it faster that is the simpleist i can think of and that is what you learn first if you take lessons
How do you do a frontflip with someone holding your foot?
Have them hang on to both of your feet so you are facing the way you want to flip (make sure they are strong!!) and make sure that the first couple times you have a really good tumbling coach! And then, have the person hanging onto you push up, and partly to the front, and make sure that they use their LEGS so they don't hurt their backs, and then do a front flip! This should be helpful, it helped me!! Be careful an make sure to have a good tumbling coach!!
