How do you know if you've popped a cherry?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

You don't have a cherry and nothing pops.

You may have a hymen, which is tissue that surrounds the vaginal opening - this can wear away or stretch over time, also as a result of vaginal penetration such as via using tampons or menstrual cups, masturbation, sexual activity with a partner, etc. The hymen can tear but typically this will usually only occur if penetration is rough or forced, for the most part the hymen doesn't cover much of the vaginal opening and is flexible so can stretch to accommodate vaginal penetration.

If you believe your hymen has been torn and want to check then you can simply look at your hymen yourself - it's not always easy to see tearing, but you may notice tags of tissue or tears rather than a more complete ring of tissue.

Why do cherries sink in your cakes?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The Chocolate Chips are heavy so they just sink to the bottom the same way we can drown in water if we can't swim.

If you use mini-chocolate chips, wet them with water, milk or extract and then coat them with a light dusting of flour, they won't sink to the bottom of the cake mix.

How do you prune a weeping cherry tree?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

It depends on the look you want. You always trim the tree from the bottom of the tree. To make it look like an umbrella which is trimmed high, or a mushroom which is evened at the lowest point. You should always keep the strongest central "leader". This will be the support for the weeping limps when it is mature. The "mushroom look" will cause scars and will make the tree look unnatural. The idea behind the weeping cherry tree is to look as naturally beautiful as possible. You decide which direction the tree grows during its pruning, just make sure you pick a good strong leader. Where is a woman's cherry?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Basically a woman is cherry until her hymen is penetrated. Initially this happened when the woman had penetration for the first time. It can be very painful and there may be bleeding. Also called popping her cherry. It used to be that men wouldn't marry a woman whose hymen had been penetrated because they wanted a virgin. Because of the active lifestyle of the modern woman it is not unusual for the hymen to be torn. This can happen through strenuous exercise, sports, horseback riding etc.

Cherries (sweet) like cool winters that accumulate chilling hours, 400-1000 chill hours of 45 degrees down to about 35 degrees f, can tolerate some teens. Consistent temperate weather with cool summers below 90s. They also prefer well drained soil. New cultivars such as Minnie Royal and Royal lee are low chill cherries that are even producing fruit in so cal. You can get newer rootstocks that tolerate heavier soils as well. Northern Calif, WA, OR, and MI are the top cherry producers in the USA, and you will notice the cooler climates they thrive in.
