Laws forbidding sale of tobacco products of all types, especially cigarettes, to minors are extremely effective. That is not to imply that the laws are effective at preventing minors from smoking, but as far as them buying their own cigarettes at any established business goes, the laws prevent that. As an ex-employee of more than one convenience store/gas station, I can attest to the fact that cashiers are expected to card anyone who remotely looks like they are under 18. Businesses get stiff monetary penalties for selling tobacco to minors and cashiers can lose their jobs if they do not card. The government sends people around to make sure businesses are carding, too. They aren't people who just watch, either; they are minors (usually older minors) who attempt to purchase cigarettes.

While the laws are effective at stopping the sale of cigarettes to minors, education has been effective at actually stopping minors from smoking. After all, every minor knows someone who would be willing to buy cigarettes for them, although the laws forbid that, too.

But this question isn't the easiest to answer, it depends on what brand they are.


around here, your good brands like: Marlboro, Camel, and Newport. etc. are generally around 6-8 dollars depending on the store they're bought from (excluding any promotional deals they may have. i.e. buy one pack get one pack free, $1.00 off specially marked packs)


Then you have your generic brands, around here, our main generic brand is: 305's. Some people claim they taste just like the name brands, but to be honest, that little extra money you pay for the name brands, really make a difference, but our generic brands are usually between 4-6 dollars depending on the location.


You could also go up to your local convenience store and you'll see some sort of signs about cigarette prices, which would give you an idea of the rest.

Its contained in cigarettes, because cigarette companies sell poison.... There are thousands of chemicals in these cancer sticks to question. But don't waste you're time.

It really depends how you roll them and how much tobacco you put in them. I'd say around 20-30 cigarettes. You can get around 40-60 in a 25g pouch.

The length of a "regular" cigarette is 70 mm, and "king size" are 84 mm. The filter cigarettes marketed as 100's are 100 mm in length and some brands sell 120 mm lengths, but with a decreased diameter.

(The length of the cigarette that is smoked can substantially alter the "tar" and "nicotine" because whatever amount that is absorbed by the intervening unburned length is eventually vaporized by the combustion and inhaled as well.)

According to customer service at Commonwealth Brands, Inc. the hole is there to allow you to open and close the box lid with more ease. I feel there is more to it than that and they are not giving us the while story.

Depends on the restaurant employees. If the know what an electronic cigarette is chances they will let you.

Also, with some Electronic Cigarettes such as Cigarti you receive a membership ID card that shows employees at restaurants, in airports, and all over that you are allowed to smoke your e-cigarette!

That's incorrect. Chelsea admitted on her show that she smokes when he drinks. She went on to joke that she "drinks when she smokes," meaning she smokes somewhat regularly. One of her guests, a supposed psychic, teased her about having a "cigarette aura" around her (in other words, she smelled smoky).

Also, in a Jan. '10 "Chelsea Lately" episode, she told Amy Brennemen she smokes to take the edge of losing weight.

Without the smoke, it is completely harmless. Every danger in smoking comes from the smoking aspect of it.

Submerging the piece in undiluted white vinegar will help rid an rubber or plastic item of the smoke smell. Leave submerged for however long removes the smell then rinse and dry. Any vinegar smell will disperse in a matter of minutes/hour.

Or you can try submerging in baking powder which will draw the smokey smell.

Finally, even leaving in a freezer overnight can also reduce the smell.

Carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide lowers the amount of oxygen the blood can transport. And Nicotine shrinks the blood vessels so not as much blood can be transported. These two effects combined mean the heart has to work much harder, and your body still doesn't get enough oxygen.

The smoke also gives you bad breath right away.

The "Original" brand (the blue pack) is most likely to taste similar to Marlboro.
