Cinderella

It's a completely fictional fairy tale- the exact origins of it are unknown, but thousands are known throughout the world. The earliest recorded version was by the Greek Geographer Strabo in about 7 BC, about a slave girl called Rhodopis who goes on to marry the King of Egypt. The most popular versions were published by the French author Charles Perrault in Histoires ou contes du temps passé in 1697, and later by the Brothers Grimm in their collection Grimm's Fairy Tales. It is an archetypal story about how good, virtuous people who are oppressed by the cruel and unjust, can get their rewards in the end. Most versions of it are set in an amorphous amalgam between Mediaeval times and the early 18th Century.

There are Cinderella stories from many cultures. The one most Americans are familiar with comes from a French fairytale credited to Charles Perrault.

Back when the story was first made in about the 11th century, the most expensive thing of the time was fur. That is why the slipper was originally fur. However, because of modern styles, changes in economy, and Hollywood magic, the fur slipper turned into a glass slipper.

They did NOT write it they collected stroies from all over Germany and Cinderella was collected! However they did change it a little bit when they were being told the story they heard "glass" instead of "fur" slipper! They sound alike in german!

Fairy Godmother is believed to have transformed her rags into a grand gown and her slippers into magical glass shoes.

Additional note : What puzzles me is if her clothes changed from the gown to the dirty ones after midnight, why not her glass slippers?

The answer: The climax of Ciinderelle occurs when the prince puts the glass sliper on Cinderelle's foot and it fits.

There are three strong female characters in A Winter's Tale: Perdita, Hermione and Paulina. The young female lead in the romantic comedy subplot is Perdita who ends up marrying her guy, Florizel. The main plot is about the fractured marriage of Leontes and Hermione and their eventual reunification. Hermione is the main female character in this plotline and has some heroic moments as she is tried for an offence of which she is innocent. Paulina is the most heroic female character in the play: she sticks to Leontes like a bur, reminding him constantly of his crimes through his long separation from Hermione.

There are many different scenes in the movie, and Cinderella wears something different in each scene.

At first Cinderella wears an old gown that is ragged, tattered and badly worn.

When the fairy godmother is presented in the movie, she provides Cinderella with proper and more formal clothing, until the big night of the ball. The fairy godmother arranges a beautiful, big formalistic dress.

The rising action in Disney's Beauty and the Beast is when Belle takes her father's place as prisoner to the Beast and stays at the Beast's castle. This turning point in the film begins the relationship between Belle and the Beast, which is central to the story, begins to take shape.

I have a book called Disney Villains and on lady Tremaine's page it says on the on a little article that he loves animals, But is very allergic to CATS! and lady Tremaine has Lucifer.
