Washer bottle on a C5 sits under the driver's side headlamp and needs front bumper removal to access it. This is alot easier than it sounds and only took me 10 mins to do. I recently had to replace the washer motor. To remove the bumper you will find 2 small screws in the wheel arches which turn and prise out, 4 torx bolts along the top edge of the grille under the bonnet and about 4 more along the bottom of the bumper. When all fixings removed walk it forwards with a helper to avoid damaging it , or the car. Good Luck.

How do you change the headlight bulb on a Citroen dispatch van?

I have just put a bulb in to the passenger side of a 2009 dispatch this very hour in the dark, there are no 2 ways about it when you try this for the first time you will have to use a mirror to see the way the clip is held over the back of the Bulb,

You will see that the wire clip is hinged at the bottom and kind of oval where it goes over the base of the bulb then it forms a little 10mm (for want of a better word) Tit,

Maybe it would be better described as an upside down U at the top of the oval wire if that makes sense… you will see that only one leg of this U is holding the wire in place so press in the free side hard and slide it away from the flat clip that's holding the other leg… Job done,

Forgot to say you need to take off the rubber cover and pull off the wire plug before you can free up the wire,

I took a picture after I installed the new lidl bulb and will try to post it if that's possible here… I really do hope this helps someone because doing it this way saved me the 2 hours that my mate told me it took him, once you have your mirror and in my case a torch it's a five minute job… in fact it took me much longer to describe it then it took to do it,

Mike

How do you change the air filter on citroen c4?

Fortunately I drive on sealed roads so only had to do this once so far but I'll do it shortly again

Don't remove the bonnet as some say. Remove the wiper blades, the cardboard shield across the top of the engine, the plastic bit under the windscreen that goes the full width ( about four screws) and then unclip the fuel filter (or whatever it was) to get to the black plastic box with the filter inside.

A bit fiddly - not much room there - but doesn't take too long. Worst part is putting the plastic rail back and making the rubber seal fit the bottom of the windscreen.
