What if you accidentally take 45 mg of Concerta and you are not prescribed the medication?

Nothing. (You might be able to get a lot of work done?)

Maybe you will experience some heart palpitations, tics, tremours, etc. = standard side effects we all experience...

I have heard that "normal" people sometimes use Ritalin, Concerta, etc. during like finals week. For non-ADHD people, this may increase anxiety, maybe even distractibility. My mom was prescribed amphetamines back in the 70's, and they drove her nuts. They have the opposite effect on me and others with ADD/HD apparently.--They are very calming to most of us.

Hope this helps.

By the way, if anxiety increases, try a very tiny bit of a Valium or similar substance to counter these effects. Also, per my experience, the concerta pill doesn't last nearly as long as they claim...

What happens if I don't take my Concerta regularly?

You can stop taking concerta at any time and return to it at any time, no problem, Its recommended to stop concerta for a weak or so every 6 Mont's so that you can fell the full effect again, but you can take it or not as you want but we people w add or adhd want to take it so we can leave a more normal live, If you forget to take it or don't want to, nothing will happen only that you will feel a stronger effect when you get back to it if you stop for a weak or more.

Is it safe for your daughter to take Concerta 18mg and Risperdal together if she has ADHD and autistic disorder?

Yes it is safe. My younger brother has ADHD and Asperger's Sydrome and he takes Concerta and Risperdal every morning. I would still recommend asking your doctor if it is safe for HER to use, as medications have different effects on different people. I know this sounds like a Scientologist. But my neighbor's mom told his psychitrist to prescribe him something because she thought he had a problem. He just wrote a ticket for Resperidal without and hesitation. I am glad he didn't take it, it is schizophrenic medication. I am sure what ever your daughter has is much, much better than any single side effect from Risperdal. Please don't let her take it, you will lose your daughter.
