Some people are into bondage and like to be tied up and whipped. On the other side, there are people that like to do the whipping.

Cool Whip is a non-dairy cream. It is made of vegetable oil among other ingredients. Whip Cream is cream from cow. That is the main difference besides the taste.

im pretty sure you dont want to know the answer to this, but.... Cool whip is honestly made of petroleum. dont believe me? check the container. you should see a notice saying: "an edible oil product". no, they do not mean vegetable oil. they mean oil, as in motor oil. i am not lying. what they do is they take oil. then they remove petroleum, and all that other stuff that can be used for a vehicle. there is a bunch of sludge at the bottom. half of it is turned into vaseline (petroleum jelly), and half of it is colored white and flavored/sweetened. then frozen. and sold to us as "whipped cream". guess what? there is no cream in cool whip. at all. disgusted? so am i. i havent eaten cool whip since.

Regular Cool Whip (Original) used to have no dairy except the milk protein. Now it contains cream and skim milk, however they still claim there are 0 grams of lactose (but I am skeptical to try this still). It looks like the lite version of cool whip still does not contain skim milk or cream.

Yes it will if you use a little amount because if you use alot, it will get very mushey and wont be as good so depending on how much cool wip you have add maybe 1 drop for every cup of cool whip. Can use two drops if u want a darker color.

Yes, it will still be good. Cool whip does not have any milk in it. It will keep for many days if kept in the refrigerator.

Homemade cool whip? You take a pint of heavy cream, add a little sugar (and vanilla extract if you like) to taste and whip with a mixer until you have soft peaks. That's all there is to it.

It usually only last about a week or two. When it's bad, it moulds. And it's generally pretty quick. Cool Whip can be refrozen, though, if you'd like to keep from throwing out the excess amounts.

"Cool Whip" is mostly whipped oils, and is shipped as a frozen food. It is also kept in the freezer sections of retail stores. It should be frozen or refrigerated to prevent spoilage. Once it is opened, it must be kept cool or it will rapidly go bad.

Recommended storage limits : 2 to 3 weeks refrigerated, 12-14 months frozen.

Yes, the texture may be a little different when thawed, but it's perfectly fine to freeze fruit salad with cool whip.

8oz by weight or volume? by volume 8oz is 1 cup. By weight every ingredient would be different I imagine 8oz by weight of cool whip would be a lot since its just whipped oil.

** According to Kraft's webpages, 8 oz of cool whip is about 3 cups (important to know if you're making the jello cool whip pie and didn't get the smaller tub of cool whip!). :)

If cool whip isn't frozen, then it should be refrigerated.
