How do you deal with being disrespected?

It depends on how much value you give to that person's opinion. Usually the more prudent course is don't react to it. If possible don't hang around that person unless you truly did something that is provoking such disrespect.

Additionally:

First of all, if you feel you have been disrespected by someone you love you have to be careful in how you handle your response because instead of taking steps to correct the problem in a positive manner, if you are hurt over how you feel you have been treated, you will, in turn, be disrespectful and that accomplishes nothing. If you feel you have been disrespected in some manner, the best way to approach the situation is too simply tell the person how they have made you feel. Hopefully, if that person cares anything at all about you they will apologize and the two of you can work it out and move on. No one wants to be disrespected and I think the most common response is to disrespect them back in some way. That's not a productive and/or positive response and it only causes more hard feelings that warrant an apology. You end up in a cycle. I would never intentionally disrespect someone I love or care about but when you are hurt and your emotions might be running all over the place it's easy to lash back. Don't go that route. Life is too short to get hung up and drag stuff out that could be resolved much easier and without harming the relationship any further. I wrote something a long time ago while feeling hurt and confused that was disrespectful to someone I love very much. Because of the importance of this person in my life, I became a much better person since that period of time, not that I was a bad person then. My response was not appropriate and was, in response, disrespectful even though I didn't mean it that way. I was only trying to send a message the only way I could at the time. Basically, what I am saying is, if it is a loved one where the disrespect arises, handle it in the most positive manner that you can. Do not cause more harm by responding disrespectfully. On the other hand, if it is some idiot being obnoxious to you for any unknown reason, you can either ignore it and walk away or you can tell them what they can do and then walk away with your head held high. :-)

How do you deal with argumentative or angry people?

Basically, argumentative people like emphasizing on a single point a lot. And its fine. Go one round. In fact, keep going in rounds until he/she realizes that the argument will lead to no where and stop. If it does not work, just change the topic half way to something silly, and then leave suddenly so the person can realize how silly the arguments were.

As for angry people, it depends on what type of character they have. If they are more submissive, just laugh and shrug it off. If they are really aggressive, then try your best to give in. If not, try avoiding sarcastic phrases that could anger the person even more. Maybe even find a chance, look at the person's face really close, then move away. that should dissipate some of the anger. Sorry if it did not help. You see, all these is from experience and television. Haha.

How do you deal with being ugly?

  • While we live in the modern world of 'the beautiful people' and if they are not then they get plastic surgery to become beautiful or handsome, the majority of people are not born perfect as far as beauty and a good physical build. No one is ugly! It is true that beauty fades so one should have one heck of a good personality. Beauty comes within a person and when that happens their facial expressions actually change and, they begin to do something about how they look. Females for instant could ask a girlfriend to help them with their makeup; new hairstyle and some newer clothes to look more attractive. If a female or male has a large nose then in this case plastic surgery can be done; crooked or broken teeth can be fixed by the dentist. Do not pay attention to actors in a movie or on TV; magazines or all the ads saying what beautiful is. All of it is untrue and what you see is not what is real. Models to actors have makeup sprayed on their faces and bodies to make them look flawless (they can even get a tan for a day or two by spraying) and they wear wigs between pictures or modeling. Several times in magazines you will see actors 'as is' and they are no different than the rest of us. Do not let the media (magazines; Internet; etc.) make you think that because you do not look as perfect as models or actors that you are ugly. In the end for all of us it is what is inside a person that shines through and if you stop being so picky about yourself and realize this you will be totally amazed what a smile can do for you and a good personality. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. One day sit in the mall and watch people go by. You may see a beautiful woman with a plain looking man or a handsome man with a plain looking woman and it is these people that are truly in love.

Jessica Robinson

(September 1, 2008)

Tomorrow Rodriguez

(October 29, 2008)

Has anybody won 1 million on deal or no deal?

Yes. Jessica Robinson on September 1, 2008 has one the million dollars in the American version of "Deal or no Deal."

Well, of course somebody won a million. The chances of no-one having are like a million to zero. For example, Jessica Robinson won $1,000,000 on Deal or No Deal, with 5million-dollar cases during the million dollar mission. Additionally, Tomorrow Rodriguez also won $1,000,000. She was also playing in the million dollar mission and started with 9 million-dollar cases. But those are only two people. There are a ton of other people living it up with the million they won on Deal or No Deal.

yeah a lot of people on that during the million dollar mission but a lot won it in the normal version

Not that I've seen and i watch it all the time, but there's a chance I'm wrong

People have won money on the TV show Deal or No deal. Not as much as the above answers claim, but they have had at least one million dollar winner and others who took the cash and sold the case with a Million dollars in it. They can afford to let people win since the pay only a few actors and the money for salary can go toward prizes. Some people are asking about an on line game and that is a totally different story. Let's say you did win and found that payment wasn't made. Just who would you go to and try to prove that you won an on line game and they didn't pay. Many of the sites are beyond the control of Governments and courts without a long and expensive legal battle.

Jessica Robinson won $1,000,000, being the first in Deal or No Deal history to win the grand prize. Before her, the top prize won was $750,000.
