Billund, Denmark is well known for being the home of the Lego Group offices. The Lego Factory resides on the outskirts of the town. Legoland is also found in Billund. The Billund Airport is the second busiest airport in Denmark.

The Billund Airport was originally manufactured by the Lego Group but today is independently run. The Lego Group offices opened Legoland adjacent to the corporate headquarters in 1968. Legoland is a very popular theme park and extremely popular for the children. Anyone choosing to fly into Billund, Denmark definitely should visit the Legoland theme park and visit the Lego Group corporate headquarters.

Billund, Denmark is a town that is flourishing because of the investments of companies in Billund. With the Lego Group producing approximately 90% of the products in the town in 2005, Lego is definitely a contributing factor to the population of Billund, Denmark.

The only place within the Kingdom of Denmark that does eat dolphin (in some way) is in the Faroe Islands, of whom not all participate in. The species typically eaten is the Pilot Whale, which is a member of the oceanic dolphin family.

However, attributing this to Denmark as a whole is an ignorant sweeping generalization. That would be like saying judging the UK by what Bermuda is like. The Faroe Islands is simply a dependency of the Danish Kindgom, and has its own economy and cultures. Attributing Faroese culture to Danish culture is akin to attributing Hawaiian or Guam culture to American culture, when they have their own separate practises and cultures.

We share a border with Germany to the south, and lay very close to Sweden to the east, only divided by 4 kilometers of sea at one point.
