Chemical digestion occurs int he stomach where acids break down the food turning it into chyme, and also happens in the mouth where saliva mixed with enzymes break food into bolus. It also occurs in the liver, when it produces bile to break down fat, and the liver also breaks down medicine, and small intestine, the small intestine is where the main chemical digestion occurs, the small intestine absorbs all the nutrients into the blood streams.

Mouth, Oesophagus, stomach, small intestine and finally the large intestine (also known as the colon).

Probably, I mean if you're dumb enough to eat human flesh you'd probably eat poison ivy or something also. Hence you'd get a rash.

If you mean fail as stops working, then the ultimate fate would be death. Because if you cannot eliminate, then the compacted feces would ultimately back up to the point where you would not be able to ingest nutrients, and you would die of starvation from impacted bowels.

The small intestine is about 6-7 meters long.

The first portion is called the duodenum and is about 20-25 cm long. There are 4 parts to the duodenum: (1) superior portion, (2) descending poriton, (3) inferior protion, (4) ascending poriton.

The second protion is called the Jejunum and the proximal 2/5 of the small intestine (excluding the duodenum).

The last portion is called the Ileum and composes the distal 3/5 of the small intestine.

In the small intestine most food is digested. The digestive system's organs work to make the food you eat soluble, so your body can absorb the energy (glucose). Once the churned up food is in the small intestine which is covered in villus (like a brush) the microvilli on the villus, to increase the surface area further, absorb all of the soluble glucose. Inside of the villus are capillaries that absorb most of the churned up food. But fatty acids called LIPID cannot be absorbed, so the lacteal running though the middle of the villus absorbs the fatty acids.

Mastication, commonly known as chewing, is the term for the mechanical breakdown of food in the mouth.

Proteins are is first broken down into peptides in the human body from more complex forms. If these are still really big then it will take longer to finish digesting foods.

Part of the large intestine can be removed when medically necessary, but the patient may have to wear a colostomy bag if they are no longer able to have a normal bowel movement.

Food enters through the mouth and goes trough the oesophagus and then to the stomach and then goes to the duodenum and to the small intestine
