Disco Music
Disco is a genre of psychedelic dance music originating from the 1970's. It was first heard of in Afro-American and gay, lesbian & transgender clubs in New York city and Philadelphia. It was also a "counter-attack" against rock music dominating the musical genres at that time and an "anti-stigmatic weapon" against racism and homophobia. Its popularity spread and now disco is played in virtually every club on the globe.

What is Panic At The Disco's History?
The band was formed in Las Vegas, Nevada, by two childhood friends-Ryan Ross on the guitar and Spencer Smith on the drums. Since the age of 13, the two played Blink-182 covers in bands of different formations, according to an interview with Walker and Ross. Ross and Smith then created a band under the name of "Pet Salamander" with two other friends, including Brent Wilson and guitarist Trevor Howell, who would later leave the band. Wilson met Brendon Urie at Palo Verde High School . Wilson asked Urie to try out as guitarist for the fledgling band, as they were looking for a replacement for Trevor at the time. Originally, Urie was not the band's lead singer. Rather, the position belonged to former guitarist and lyricist Ryan Ross. However, when they heard Brendon sing backup vocals during a rehearsal, they were impressed with his backup vocal abilities and unanimously decided to make him the singer. The band then settled on the name 'Panic! at the Disco.' They lifted the name from the lyrics of a song called "Panic," by Name Taken: Panic! at the disco. Although the band often says that the name comes from the song Panic by The Smiths, it was revealed by them that the Name Taken song did also lend inspiration to the band, but that the song by The Smiths is sometimes easier to explain to those unaware of Name Taken. The band contacted Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz through LiveJournal and sent him an internet link to their PureVolume site. Wentz took a trip to Las Vegas to meet the band. Okay, first there are some pretty important things that you should NOT wear.
1. DO NOT wear anything made with thick warm material.
2. DO NOT wear anything that you couldn't stand to lose or get ruined.
3. DO NOT wear open toed shoes. Your toes will get stomped on. trust me.
4. DO NOT wear shoes you can't jump around in comfortably for six hours. So if you think high heels are comfortable, go for it, but if not, wear tennis shoes or flats or comfy boots or something. Also I don't recommend new shoes.
5. DO NOT wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt and a jacket. Remember, it'll be super hot in there, with all the other people mushed up against you.
Now, in terms of what you should wear, mostly I would say to go in stuff you like and that is comfy, but there are some things I can recommend.
1. A lot of people wear very tight and short shorts. Feel free to show plenty of skin.
2. cool tights or fishnets
3. BRIGHT COLORS!
4. Sparkly or shiny things
5. No shirt. seriously, feel free to take your shirt off once you get inside. Lots of girls just wear neon lacy bras and it's fine.
6. Not too much makeup. you'll just sweat it off.
7. deodorant. you'll sweat a lot and you don't want to smell bad.
8. Kandi. You can make your own, it's just bracelets made out of big colorful plastic beads, and give them to your friends or random people you meet at the rave.
9. A backpack. Not necessary, but you shouldn't bring a handbag or anything, so if you want to bring stuff in something, a backpack works well.
