Dreams and Dream Interpretation

Dreams present symbols and images that represent our thoughts and emotions, including grief. You probably are having dreams about your mother without realizing it, because your dream presents her symbolically. Those symbols might be anything from your childhood home, a comforting quilt, a mother dog with pups, or countless other images representing the concept of "mother."

This dream suggests that the dreamer is working through the process of grief. If the loss is a recent one, the subconscious mind may be struggling to accept the finality of separation, in which case the dream is a means of bringing the sister back to life. Later on, as mourning begins to become acceptance, this same dream could represent comfort and a new type of relationship with the spirit of the deceased.

You probably did something that you see as offensive to him and don't know whether he is angry about it or not. Your subconcious will be running on the basis that he is mad, and making you dream about this.

Assuming this is a happy dream, it is wish-fulfillment. Your mind presents you with the experience you want while in the safe context of sleep. It does not predict the future or tell you anything about your boyfriends feelings or intentions.

Very generally, the dream suggests the need to clean up someone else's mess. A more specific interpretation would require further information about the dream, such as whether the baby is one's own, which would suggest how willing you might be to clean up after it, or how much you begrudge the task.

Alternatively, the pregnancy may be entirely metaphorical, referring to something that you have created, such as an idea or an important project you have in development.

So if you dreamed of being pregnant, then discovered that you are pregnant in real life, it simply means that your subconscious mind was affected by the changing hormones of your pregnancy, and placed that awareness in your dreams. There is nothing magical or supernatural about the dream.

This is an example of a random dream that does not make sense and has no particular meaning. Mice cannot be dead if they were never alive - they would have to have been alive to be born and grow into adult mice before dying. Cats kill and eat mice in the natural order of things. So this is not a significant dream that needs to cause concern.

These dreams express your feelings about some situation or events in your life. Think of the expression, "his life is a train wreck," or "her dumb question wrecked the meeting." Troublesom things are happening in your life that, like actual car wrecks, may be accidental or unavoidable, or simply due to carelessness and inattention.

The subconscious mind, which produces dreams, can have more difficulty accepting the finality of death than the conscious mind. Dreams of the deceased may be the mind's attempt to bring the deceased back into the dreamer's life. The dream expresses the emotions and thoughts of the dreamer without providing any information about the deceased.

Dreaming of crutches signifies the need to lean on others for help. Perhaps your friend is acting helpless in order to get out of some situation or obligation. Or is in actual need of assistance.

Dreaming of the deceased is a perfectly natural part of the mourning process, and can recur long after the actual death. Dreams allow the subconscious mind to work through the struggle of accepting the friend's loss, and help the emotions to adjust to sorrow and changes in life. Dreams do not "mean" anything. They are random neuron firings at at time of the sleep cycle that happen to allow individuals to remember the patterns of neurons that fired just then.

It catches both, good and bad. The bad dreams and good dreams go through the big web, maybe the small ones to but probably the largest (make sense right) and then the dreamcatcher holds on the good dreams, sends it through the feathers and beeds or how you spell it, and drops down to the dreamer while the bad dreams flies through it and at morning when the light comes from the windows, the light kills the bad dreams and it fades away! So easier sayd, the dreamcatcher catches good dreams and sends it to the dreamer and let the bad dreams passes through and fades away at light in the morning. That is what I know.

Well, it's mostly likely that people in a coma don't dream, but there has been several people wondering this question. Some people in a coma are just blankly asleep without dreams or thoughts, and others can see thoughts and pictures related to what happened to them before the coma. Bull.... I just spent 3 months in a coma, due to septic shock/ organ failures. I am a 49 year old man with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I would say nightmares are a more apt description would be nightmares, but I am only speaking from experience. As dream like in their quality, their vividness was extraordinary. A constant in these epics, I say epics because since I couldn't awaken, they went on and on. The one constant was I was unable to move in my dreams/ nightmares, just like the real physical state I was in my hospital bed. Epic also in their intricacies. The plot lines were so real, as they were fantastical.

The meaning of this dream is unique to the individual dreamer's situation. It might also depend on the identity of the person giving the message and the loved one in the dream. If the loved one is recently deceased, or if the dreamer has divorced or broken up with that loved one, the dream could represent the dreamer's own mind telling the dreamer to stop clinging to a relationship that no longer exists.

.... Similarly, if the dreamer has a crush on a celebrity or some other unavailable person who does not return the dreamer's affection, the message is that the dreamer needs to face reality and move on to other more sensible relationships.

.... Alternatively, if the the dreamer has an active, healthy relationship with a living "loved one" who returns the dreamer's affection, the dream could illustrate some sort of guilt or doubt the dreamer feels about that relationship.

This dream's meaning depends on your emotions during the dream. The angels might illustrate your longing for rescue, in the sense that you feel as if you need divine intervention to resolve a problem or situation. On the other hand, the angels might represent inspiration, or wonderful ideas. This would be particularly true if you awoke with a fresh creative idea in your mind.

The meaning of the dream depends on what you are doing, or where your sister is and what she is doing, and so on. The emotional tone of the dream is also important. For example, a dream of your sister angrily chasing you screaming in fear through an ice-covered forest would mean something very different from a dream of your playfully chasing your laughing sister along a sunny beach.
