Piercings often will grow tighter as they heal, this does not mean you should force your jewelry around to "loosen it up". Just let it heal and over time your body will accommodate the foreign piece of metal.

Other than "don't wear earrings," there's not much else to say. However, I have rather sensitive ears and can't wear the trendy earrings on a regular basis. For a temporary solution, I recommend this: clean the posts thoroughly with rubbing alcohol. Then, coat them with a thin layer of clear nail polish (believe me when I say thin; get the layer too thick, and either the backing won't go on, or it will push the polish off, exposing your ears to the harsh metals underneath) and let them dry completely (very important). Once they are dry, you can wear the earrings for much longer than you would otherwise. I'm not guaranteeing there won't be any irritation whatsoever, but I've always experienced significantly less by doing this. I would, obviously, not recommend this if you are allergic to nail polish ;)

Sounds like some kind of riddle. You probably want to do a warm sea salt soak on your piercing to loosen it up.

The ball just pushes off to one side of the ring, however due to the location a difficulty involved in getting the ring in there in the first place you should go see a professional body piercer for assistance in removal and maybe selecting jewellery that is easier to change.

What you need to do is get rid of the Sheppard's hooks on those earrings, the earring it's self weighs too much for the hook and is actually cutting your lobe over time, change the hooks to a thicker gauge wire and you should be OK

If the back has fallen into your ear canal you might be able to remove it by flushing the canal with warm water. Fill the ear and tilt the head to drain it onto a cloth or towel so you can see if the object flushed out. If that didn't work, some warm sweet oil (see your pharmacist) may be helpful in getting it to un-adhere from the ear wax.

If flushing with water or oil doesn't work, you need to see your health professional. If you start probing, swabbing and fishing you will likely damage your eardrum or impact it deeper into the canal.

Oh gosh no, Hypoallergenic is a phrase that has been misused by everyone from toilet paper companies to makeup manufacturers. It was intended to imply that the product is considered safe for it's intended use and that it should not cause any adverse reaction to the body. This implication is more often than not incorrect when it comes to earrings and nickle. Of the shelf earrings from just about any store will contain nickle in the post or hook section that actually runs through the piercing as well as the butterfly backing that holds it in place. Generally 303 or 304 stainless steel still contains nickle, which are the metal types used most often in earring studs and posts. For a material to be nickle free it is suppose to be clearly marked "nickle free" and the certification proving it. If the earring back is stuck inside the ear, do not try to remove it yourself. Seek medical help from a doctor or visit an emergency room as they have the tools and expertise to safely remove the earring back without causing injury.
