Its about a teen in a normal South African highschool.He lives in a poor envoiroment.He isnt really"fond"of his neighbors and therefor he doesn't like to talk to them.He founds out his father isnt his actual father,so he tries to gather information about him from various people,so that he can meet him in real life.I haven't read much farther than that,because we are still busy with the book in my school.
