I am friends with Geraldine Edwards' niece who works for her aunt at her law firm in Los Angeles as an attorney. You cant close a facebook acount, you can only disactivate it.

If you mean delete a friend you can go to your friend's page then click on where it says friends (it has a check on it) a menu will appear and then click where it says UNFRIEND
