Hawks that are considered bird hunters, for the most part. They include the Cooper's, sharp shinned, and goshawks. They have short rounded wings for power on take off and long tails which act as a rudder when pursuing prey in heavy cover.

Bald eagles can live very near peregrines. They form a threat to them. Hawks can also be a minimal threat considering the Peregrine can also kill hawks when provoked. Golden Eagles and Great Horned Owls are also dangerous to peregrines.
